Overall review of BBIT, Kolkata

I chose CSE AI branch cause I felt it's the era of AI, so I will have so many job opportunities if I study with AI. The course infrastructure is also very good here, so many events like hackathon, coding competition happens here. But what I feel the lack is real life application of knowledge, which you'll have to learn yourself.

From 4th semester, students become eligible for internships and from 7 th or 8th semester, they become eligible for placements. Almost 80 % students get placed each year. So companies like TCS, Infosys come each year for placements. The highest placement last year was 15 lakhs and average was 6-7 lakhs

The total tuition fees of our college is 4,80,000. The annual fees is 1,20,000. If anyone gets seat through WBJEE in TFW quota, the total fees for them is 1,32,500. During admission 60000 need to be paid with additional hostel fees of 4 months

The campus life is very good here including gym, swiming pool, different types of sports for both boys and girls. There's an ethical hacking club here run by students also There're are so events happen here like coding competitions, hackathons also There happens an annual fest here named ‘Magnus’ which is the main attraction of the college life. So many events like short film making, basketball, cricket etc. happens in the fest.

There are rooms of 4 bedded, 3 bedded and two bedded, as per your affordability you can take room, For four bedded room the amount per month is 5,700 per month. The hostel rooms are good, hostel food is average.

For taking admission in our college if anyone has passed class 12th, they can direct admission without any donation. Besides this, they take admission through WBJEE, and JEE mains also ....I took admission here from WBJEE to avail the benefit of TFW quota. Besides this, I got chance in MAKAUT govt university for BSC in ai course, but I wanted to do B.TECH that's why I chose this college

The faculties are very helpful and concerned about students. I like the teaching method of the faculties. Most of the faculties are good here. The ratio of the faculties and students are around 1: 30.The faculties are supportive but strict towards students.... There're total 4 ca ( internal exams) and 3 pca( lab internal exams) as per Makaut university rule.

The nightlife of our campus is also very good. There's a library, swimming pool, two gyms ( one seperate for girls and another for common), 3 restaurants in our college. There's a beautiful green garden and playground to play. Besides this, there's a template, church, mosque and gurudwara for religious activities.
