I am a student of computer science engineering with specialisation in cyber security I have my passion into this College faculty is quite good Teaching process is also good and teachers are friendly with us Learning is fun I give a rating of 9 out of 10

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 43000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees of 4 years is approximately 4 lakhs 40 thousand to 50 thousand per semester Got the svmcm scholarship for studying Although the course fees is quite affordable College assure us to get fine job placements

The social and fest is the best in Kolkata according to me Magnus is the greatest college fest of Kolkata The infrastructure is awesome Regarding the craze it brings is overwhelming The crew it brings is fascinating

Wbjee examination 2022 Got admission after first round of counseling You can get the details at wbjee.in As per college rules 80% of seats are allocated to the wbjee examined students Got admission last year July Now I'm in 2nd year sem 3

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. So first talk about the admission procedure : there are two ways to get into this college for btech admission is by JEE and WBJEE entrance exam. Ok taking account of these exam ranks you can take admission into this college and the average rank for CSE branch by WBJEE is under 20-25k.
