What Students Say

Likes

Teacher Behaviour are not bad not good also

Dislikes

hostel facilities should be improved like the food of the mess and there are snakes seen sometimes
it is very far away from the nearest market
student security should be improved as it is the key feature for hosteler

Course Curriculum Overview

It's good, it is a practical-based course I enjoy doing this course a lot, it also helps me learn a lot of things about the subject and many key and core concepts are also learned. Overall it's a quite good course

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 8500 per year

Internships Opportunities

there are some college based intership programs availble for cs students like MLSB that is Machine learning and System Biology , its around a 6 months internship course , rather certificate course provided by my college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Ghani khan Choudhury Institute of engineering and technology college has a defined fees structure based on the course and there respective category where BTECH students from general category pay approximately 25,940 per year and tfw pay 16,000 per year.

Campus Life

infrastructure for studying are not bad and overall campus life as a diploma student is very poor to be honest and in club involment btech gets the most priority then diploma students. so that's an issue for diploma students

Admission

I came to this college for the CFTI mark that this college has, and this college is a sponsored college, thus helping me financially also, and at first overall, the college seems good

Faculty

Faculty members are helpfull but also at the same time very strict especially on attendance and assignments and also sometimes they are quite rude with students. One key factor they donot host much programs in this college and they give priority to btech students more then diploma students

Night Life

Absolutely zero night life , nothing to say zero night life present as after 5 the college shuts down and the college is situated in the middle of the fileds so there is nothing much to do , even there is a canteen that closes after 5 pm and while it is open there nothing available most of the time

Dislikes

They have very low holidays. They even do classes on Saturdays

Course Curriculum Overview:

I don't know about any other college but my college have industry orient syllabus. And the teachers were highly qualified and experienced. They don't use the conventional way of theaching. They believe in practical knowledge. The deficulty level slightly increases per exam. 45min alloted for every internal exam..

Likes

I love overall atmosphere of the college. The mesmerizing playground of the college is still in my heart. The college consists three buildings for teaching different branches of engineering. The buildings includes labs also
The faculty teachers of each branch are one of the prime reasons of college being a superb college. The faculty teachers are well behaved and exceptionally knowledgeable. They teach the students important life lessons along with the engineering topics
The availability of study materials for the students in our college is huge. Our college have a library which stores more than ten thousand of books for different branches of engineering and of different topics, written by renowned writers

Dislikes

Sadly, There are several things that I dislike about our college. Concern related to drinkable water is one of them. The quality of drinkable that comes from storage is not upto the mark.Although two new water purifiers are installed in our college
Secondly, Our college-buildings need a little bit of repairing because the buildings are reasonably old enough to cause damage. Some of the classrooms are really damp and wet. This issue needs to be fixed.
The equipments and machineries installed in our laboratories are a bit old and that's why they don't operate properly. So I think that some of the machineries and equipments need to be replaced for betterment in learning of the students

Placement Experience:

After passing 4th semester L&T, TATA, NIPPON STEEL, JSL, JSW, BRAVO etc Highest package provided is around 8-10 LPA and average package provided is around 4 LPA. Usually and L&T and JSL provides high packages Almost 70-80% of students I'm going to take admission in a BTECH college for persuing Bachelor in Engineering degree

Ananya's word

My JEE scores were not sufficient for me to secure a seat in CSE in any college. Although i had applied to some semi government ones like IPU in delhi and had got a seat in ECE in the main campus, i opted for this one instead keeping the fee structure in mind. Also im a native bengali so i was not willing to travel to delhi for my academics. Though i regret that decision and would not recommend anyone to settle for a college nobody has heard of when you can have a better one instead. I had been selected for NIT Agartala as well in Mechanical branch but ofc i opted for a better branch. I mostly relied on Josaaa and Csab for my admission as my primary preference was to get into a government college so all of it depended on my jee scores which was not so great...Read More
