Remarks

Not really. yes, they can do better if they focus on placing students well after post graudation

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Yes, It was research driven. Professors were amazing and they were very serious about the future of students. Industrial visits were organized too and many leading pharmaceutical and research companies came to the campus to hire students. I was one of them to be placed in campus interview.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes placement was good. Lot of industrial and research companies came to hire students. but they were all inclined towards hiring students with good marks in their semesters. They should have atleast scored 60% to apply for the placements.

College Events

3

There are lot of fests that happen in the campus. These fests are organized by delhi campus and has around more than 2000 students participating at a time. Students wait for these fests throughout the year. Infact these fests are also sponsored by various brands.

Fee Structure And Facilities

its very feasible as its a government college and provides transparency. the cost is very low when compared to private colleges. As these colleges only offer admission students on merit basis and cost is kept very low. so I would say it is feasible but only student with merit.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, colleges do offer scholarship and only few students based on their merit are offered scholarships.

Campus Life

4

My college is a good example of gender ratio. as around 40% of the students in the college are females. Delhi university is very diverse as they offer seats to students from different races and culture. From mizoram to kashmir, college offers seats to all the students.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No. I have never opted for hostel. But few of my friends used to stay at college hostels. students who stay far from the colleges only stay at hostel. Hostels are also offered on basis of merits.if you have scored well in exams, then only you are offered a seat in hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

yes, they were helpful. they always offered help when needed. from explaining the concept to taking sessions. they helped us with advice related to professors. though you need to have friendly equation with them.

Admission

I had opted for this course because I wanted to go for teaching and I wanted to be specialized in chemistry. So to get admission in Hindu, you need to have a good score. So I was among the top 10 students and had applied to Hindu. I got admission as I had scored well during college days.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty was highly experienced. Most of them were post doctorates and had more than 15 years of experience in their subject. They were all subject matter experts and used to share their learnings with us during their sessions. Infact, they also shared their experiences while working in industry

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements in the last semester. Primal Group, Allen Career Institute, Akash Institute, etc a lot of companies came for placement. This is a time of recession. So, very few students get placements. My plan is to join the coaching industry as a teacher after my degree.
