Remarks

JNU is one top ranking university. Here the faculties are best and education level and standard are great. You learn and explore so many things beyond your studies also. The best of JNU is, here the peoples (prof., Students and other staff members) are very helpful and encouraging.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My syllabus of M.SC is good but could be much better. The syllabus must be some industrial exposure, but there only guys (those doing msc in chemistry) could, their syllabus slightly industrial exposure.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I was getting MCM scholarship

Placement Experience

2

In course there are very less placement companies come for placement. A large number want to pursue their PhD or go for job and some like to join industrial jobs. Remaining peoples prefer to do preparation for UPSC. The alumni of my university are doing well around the all over globe.

College Events

5

My campus is much political interests campus. There are so many extra curriculum activities happen in sport, music, some kind play and other Pooja and all. As I told, people of my campus usually like debate and they like debate in very wide range, it could be, science, technology, fourth industrial revolution (AI, and quantum computation and etc), social issues and economic conditions of India and world and etc. There are daba culture discussion and debate, which goes up to long nights.

Campus Life

4

The schools building are good the hostels condition are slightly bad . It must repair and or rebuild. Let's talk about the other things also. There are also free of cost WiFi provided. Which has good network most of time. And there are two type of libraries school's library and Central library and plus every school has own reading also. There are some reading rooms open 24×7. And there are best quality lab equipment use in my labs.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel are good but could be much better, there 16 hostel in JNU but the newer hostel and good condition and olds are could be much better like reading rooms, living rooms and etc. Let's me tell about the mess, the food quality are so bad. The worker must take good training before join mess.

Yes there is a placement cell here. 2nd year students eligible for campus placement company started visiting campus for placement after one month of 2nd year started . Here company came for mostly 3 roles Data analyst, Data scientist and Subject matter expert. Companies like United Airlines, United Healthcare Optum, Cognitio analytics, Courseleap, transOrg analytics etc visited campus and the package they offer depends on company standards it vary from 5 lpa to 20 lpa . Avg package is around 9 lpa and highest package is offered 20 lpa for Data science role. About 20 to 30 percent of students are getting placed mostly are chosen for higher studies like phd . My plan is definitely going to cooperate industry for data analyst role

Campus placements are offered but I am still in my first year so I have no idea. Students usually go for higher studies (PhD) after master's. Clearing entrances becomes a task. They d offer campus placements it's not that intense as it should be.

Placements occur in two phases first in 3rd semester for Phase 1 and then Phase 2 in 4th semester. Percentage of people placed is low but the package and companies they got is excellent. The packages offered from 7.5 LPA to as high as 26 LPA. A lot of big companies visit the campus.
