Remarks
College campus needs to be closed as there are jungle nearby. Some building and instruments needs to be modernised. New equipments needed. But college support students very much. Even has a good program for students who has good startup ideas.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is pretty good but some parts of it are very old and needs to be modernised. Our college has a very tight exam structure. Each semester has two internals and assignments given by teachers. One must secure a proper marks to pass the semester and must attend all practical classes. Also must have 75% attendance.
Placement Experience
Placements are good for CSE and IT students. But for core branches the scenario is not so good. But students from our college secure good packages from off campus drives. But every year placements seems to improve.
College Events
Plexus-- it is the freshers event for 1st year students. In this event 1st year students becomes true kgecans by heart. They are acknowledged about the college and its traditions. Espectro--- it is the flagship event which is organised by students. Very famous artists are invited. Alumnis also attend this fest. Many big companies promotes this fest showcases their products or encourages to work for them. Swaraswati puja Hall days of hostels and many more
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is a government engineering college so fees are formidable. There are also many scholarship to help the students from weak economic background. For hostelers fees are little bit higher for hostel charges.
Fees and Financial Aid
College offers half freeship or full freeship for poor economic background students. Students have to apply with proper income certificates and documents. College relases a list for approved students. And they are forgiven the tution fees
Campus Life
All the labs are very well occupied. Lab heads are very strict and students must attend labs. college has a sports club which organises inter college and inter departmental events. Many students from our college has shown exceptional talent in national and state events. College has dance, literature, art and singing clubs. Every students joins clubs according to his choices.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are very good with big rooms with four beds equipped with free wifi beautiful canteen playing field sports equipments. It also has hot water system. Food is also good. It is cleaned every week.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college has an alumni cell which keeps contact with famous and established alumnis. Occasionally alumni meets are organised. They come interacts with current students, gives advice. There is an mentor program in which students are assigned to alumnis according to their interests. They helps us very much.
Admission
I chosen BCA because it's a profeesional CS degree, compare to engineering we can complete this course in three years but also can get a job as a software engineer and if we want to do the job at the same time wants to complete masters in CS so many software companions will sponsor us.
Faculty
All the facilities are highly qualified in their respective departments. But their are also some shortage of faculties so college use mtech interns. But they are also very profeesional. There are also some faculties who needs to be replaced.
