Have only had good experience the confidence got built as I held the position of president and vice president while representing my college. Disciplined, organized and functional in their approach helped to bring in seriousness and focus among students.

No entrance exam went to delhi university after i cleared my 12th CBSE board exams. I scored 82% and qualified for Jesus and mary college for graduation.

Interesting studied the sociological theories and their application in todays society concepts related to Hierarchy, family tree, gender, matriarchal societies were thought provoking.

The experience working with different NGO's helped me understand their administrative working at the same time the struggle they go through for sustainability. Working with blind children was enriching experience to see their learning capabilities and never complain attitude kept them going in life.

The placement for my particular course was not available job opportunities especially in the non profit sector was post post graduation.

The Inter college sociology fest held by different colleges was a good exposure- as students we got to participate in debates, collage making, paper presentation.

The fee structure was feasible however in comparison to other DU colleges it was on the higher side. The college was also collecting an additional amount from the fee to build their amphitheater.

There were special faculty to support foreign students however i did not avail for for any discount or scholarship.

Campus life has been an over all enriching experience the exposure to library, studying, group activities, lectures, Inter and Intra debate competition have been helpful in shaping us as young professionals.

There was no hostel facility available in jesus and mary college. However the canteen was well stocked with fresh food and drinks to keep it going in the day.

The alumni cell is week and needs to be strengthened by organizing more meetings to share everyones current profile to build a network. The batch association of ones course and parallel course helps to expand the association.

The final exam was held at the year end around march however there marks given against tutorials and mid year assessments.

Faculty was great well read and had a firm grip on the subject matter. Open to discussions and were articulate in their lectures the professors were disciplined and did not believe only in the suggested reading but also expected students to write relative examples and co-relate theory with actual association.
