I choose the course because I want to be a good doctor. My class has around 200 students and each department has around 30 faculty. The student-faculty ratio is 20:3. All the faculty are well experienced and they teach us on the projector. They teach clinical knowledge in hospital clinics. The semester exams are conducted every 3 months and the University conducts professional exams during March. The exam is difficult to pass.
My father is a doctor. When he treats people it feels like he is doing something really humanly which actually is. I always wanted to be like him to be the reason of others' smiles and that's why I chose this profession.
In gmch faculty-student ratio is 1:15, which is very good actually.
All faculties are NEET:PG qualified ie, they all have done Masters. Some professord did PostDoc and other felowship too.
The teaching method is offline mode but in a smart class for theory. And for practical knowledge students are taught in clinical wards in the hospital.
Exams are plenty in mbbs. Atleast 3 exams per month a student gets. The difficulty is moderate. One studying regularly can easily pass the examination.

I chose MBBs because it's a noble profession. A human being must serve people and society and it can be best done by being a doctor. That's why I chose MBBS.

The frequency of exams is high. More than twice a month you have to appear for an exam, may it be a semester or internal assessment or part completion test.
Exams are not MCQ-based and the difficulty is moderate. A punctual study from starting makes it easy to pass any exam.

In The GAUHATI MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL the exam is taken nearly 20 days including practical exam and the exam conducted timely every year.Generally it is difficult to paas the exam because there is two papers in a single student have to write continuous 6 hours
The course curriculum is very good and faculties are very much helpful. I have chosen this course to serve the nation. There are at least 1 faculty is there for every 30 students. Exams are having a fixed schedule and they are usually conducted in that specific schedule only. Every faculty are MBBS+MS/MD. Every year in March our final exam used to conduct.
According to new MCI guidelines our new course has been assigned. The teachers are very good. A lot of faculty are present . A large number of students are present. All the teachers are PG qualified. The teaching method is digital using slides. The term exams are normally held in time but during Covid times they had to be postponed. Faculties are very much helpful for the students.
