Go through the admission process conducted by the college where verifications of all the required documents will be done. 5. Apply for a hostel if you want to stay on the Hostel campus.

I chose MBBs because it's a noble profession. A human being must serve people and society and it can be best done by being a doctor. That's why I chose MBBS. All faculties are NEET: PG qualified. Faculties are great experienced but few of them fail to deliver their knowledge fully but that's only a few. The faculty ratio is 1:20. The teaching method is mainly practical. Clinical exposure is given from 1st year itself. And for the theory part, there are smart classes available. The frequency of exams is high. More than twice a month you have to appear for an exam, may it be a semester or internal assessment or part completion test. Exams are not MCQ-based and the difficulty is moderate. A punctual study from starting makes it easy to pass any exam.

Internship is offered by the college itself. After you pass the final year you have to do a mandatory internship for one year. During internship doctors get salary of 31k provided by Assam Government. In internship newly budded doctors learn to treat people in a better way under the guidance of PGs and Professors.

It's a government college and so the cost is not that high. For 1st-year admission fees are 30000 and 5000-10000 in the subsequent years. In addition, there will be exam fees of 5000 each year and hostel fees of 1200/yr if you stay in a hostel. Students can get the Ishaan Uday scholarship which is around 7.2k per month or they can apply for any central scholarships like Minority scholarships and so.

Synthesis is the medical fest in GMCH for which all the students are eagerly excited every year. Many celebrities come during the cultural night of the fest. Intercollege and intra-college events are ample in this fest. It is one of the best manifests in the North East. There are Quiz Club, Cultural Club, Gym Club, Social Welfare Club, and many others where students can be active members without any joining fees.

Hostel facility is available here. In total there are 5 UG hostel including 2 girls hostel and 3 boys hostel. Double and single rooms are available in hostels which are alloted seniority wise. Meal quality is good. 3 times a day meal service is available. Registration for hostel is done during admission process on where student have to select for hostel facility. Hostel affordibility is minimun. Yearly 1200 is taken as hostel charge.
