Sneak into MBBS

1. Admission to GMCH is done through NEET examinations where students must score a good rank to be qualified for GMCH. 2. To appear in NEET student must pass 12th or equivalent with a minimum score of 60% with PCBE combination. 3. After scoring qualifying marks students must go through counseling and admission process which will be conducted by DME, Assam, and GMCH respectively. 4. The admission begins one and a half months after the NEET exam.

My father is a doctor. When he treats people it feels like he is doing something really humanly which actually is. I always wanted to be like him to be the reason of others' smiles and that's why I chose this profession. In gmch faculty-student ratio is 1:15, which is very good actually. All faculties are NEET:PG qualified ie, they all have done Masters. Some professord did PostDoc and other felowship too. The teaching method is offline mode but in a smart class for theory. And for practical knowledge students are taught in clinical wards in the hospital. Exams are plenty in mbbs. Atleast 3 exams per month a student gets. The difficulty is moderate. One studying regularly can easily pass the examination.

Fees for 1st-year admission are 30000 and 5-10 thousand in the subsequent years. The fees hike is not there but the overall fee in gmch is a bit higher than in other medical colleges in the field. Students can apply for the Ishan Uday scholarship. Minority students can go for Merit-cum minority scholarship too.

The name of the annual fest is Synchysis. Inter and intra-college events are there. During the cultural night of the fest, Celebrities do come. There are two libraries in gmch where you can get every book you need but of the older version. There are many social clubs run by students. A few of them are Quiz Club, Singing Club, Dancing Club, Literature Club, etc.

A hostel facility is available in gmch. In total 5 hostels are there of which two are girls hostels and the rest 3 are of boys. The yearly Hostel fee is 1300 only. The Hostel Mess is run by the students only and hence the fold quality is also good.
