what happens at ramanujan college?

i really liked the infrastructure of this college as this college has a newer collece building than the other du colleges its very beautiful campus u will really love it
the seniors and the societies aree so good they are so approachable and help u right away , no ragging no bullying as there is also a strict action towardss ragging in our college
our principle is dynamic . even in elections he ensured our safety and campus cleanliness and allowed no paper and pamphlets roaming on the ground

Dislikes

first thing i didnt like was the classes structure and the no of holidays our teachers take and we are unable to comolete our syllabus
some teachers are really good , the faculty is overall nice but some teachers just dont know how to teach

Placement Experience:

according to all the reviews i have read the placement ranges from 4-5 lcs per anumm to 24 lcs per anumm which is quite decent i think the students can become eligible for placements in 2nd year of college some companies that have visited the college : delloitte KPMG HDFC bank bajaj finance amazon genpact tata consulting services in 2024 around 300+ people were reported as placed highest packedge in 2024 - 12lkh per aummn

Discipline. Regular classes on time practical and theory classes.
there were fests and opportunities to present papers and projects as well.
there were different lectures which were insightful and opportunities for exposure as well.

Dislikes

limited infrastructure, as at that time new building was under construction. But I think now it is built.

Placement Experience:

Placement is there. There is a placement cell as well. Which helps in getting a placement. Also there are more options in different courses, so you can sit for those. Exactl number of students getting placed is hard to know. But most people from my class didn't sit for placement as they went for further studies.

Likes

Some teachers is really so good and sweet they give 100% attendance to students in end of semester.
I see college and class room's are always neet and clean
Canteen and cafe is affordable and good in taste also .

Dislikes

Student's nature most of it behave like they are any superhero or something
In college I feel everyday so dead vibes and that's why I loose my energy.
Some teachers ares so strict they never listen to students.

Placement Experience:

In my college placement in available but in low rates any few students get the placement not all for example:- only 3-4 students get placement outof 1000 students. They need so much qualification and good cgp for 10000-15000 per month. I didn't think it's worth it

Ramanujan College- More good than bad.

Likes

Infrastructure- it is very good and very thorough.
Classrooms- clean and tidy classrooms with well-maintained benches.
Library- good library with plenty of seating and resources.

Dislikes

Washrooms- dirty, and smelly washrooms, not the most well-kept.
Canteen- recently changed the service provider and the food is subpar.
Principal- too strict, and thinks very highly of himself, keeps too tight of a hand on the budget.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course curriculum, is very very good. It is vast and covers a variety of topics within the field and covers them thoroughly. There are subjects that get boring obviously, but overall it is well maintained.

Ramanujan "The superstar college"

Likes

The infrastructure I just love it so much it gives me good vibes because it is very beautiful.
The classroom are huge and big and everything is very clean and hygiene even the canteen.
My college also has lift it is so convinenent for the students to go from one floor to another.

Dislikes

I think there should soke more space in the canteen area because it is full everytime
Also I wanted to join the fashion society but they don't have it

As per my knowledge the highest placement is 12 Lakh per year also my teachers also psychology honours, english honours, pol honours, history honours can only get this placement. Also if your course has some particular sec papers then only you can go for it.

All about Ramanujan College

my college infrastructure is very modern as compared to other du colleges . all classes are smart classes too.
the placement cell is also very active and average packgage is around 5-6 lacs per annum.
my college canteen is one of the best i feel. very tasty, hygienic and affordable food.

Dislikes

i feel the curriculum should be more practical rather than theory. industry exposure is the thing which lacks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

finance was the part that made me choose this course. curriculum pretty much teaches us the finance but one thing that i want should improve is practical exposure. only theory cannot make us industry ready. course should add some more finance topics and should also add a practical subject of finance. the exams were not very hard if you study well. they were pretty much easy to clear.

Likes

the professors are highly knowledgable and easy to approach fostering a supportive learning environment. There are many societies and clubs in our college which allows students to explore their passion and develop leadership skills
the campus is equipped with good libraries and laboratories
the college offers a wide variety of courses particularly storng in the field of science and humanities

Dislikes

the campus is not that big it feels crowded especially during peak hours
sports facilities are not comprehensive as those in some other colleges
administrative procedures can be slow or cumbersome

Overall good and great experience of college life

Placements are average in our college. We can do internships if we want to learn some experience and earn some money after graduation their are many opportunities that we can seek for job . We also opt for masters if needed.

Ramanujan college: a college for your overall excellence

There are so many societies of extra curricular department these are for dance , drama , singing , animal welfare etc .. we also have NCC in our college this is such a good thing for the boys and girls who have their background in NCC in their school
The infrastructure is good and the crowd is better than most of the college i know
Teaching faculty is very good and friendly also seniors are very welcoming they've helped us a alot

Dislikes

Canteen can be improved there's very limited space and no air conditioners but it's ok .. but still in peak time there's not a single seat to sit and have your lunch
Campus is small as compared to other colleges area
We are studying in porta cabins which is good but it can be better if there are normal classes for all

I've chosen this course according to my needs and choices... It offers us with 4 additional subjects which I'd say are valuable in terms of knowledge.. Subjects like environment science, ethics and culture etc prepares us for real world applications of further academic pursuits as my goal is upsc and there's a topic called ethics and culture Teaching can be improved if they provided us with digital boards as porta cabins do not have any smart boards Frequency of exam is ok neither too exaggerated and nor too low

The overall honest review of RAMANUJAN COLLEGE

Faculty and teachers..supportive teachers are there
Library- library of the college is the best place i could say.a huge quantity of books are available of every field
Canteen is good- the food is affordable yet good in quality as well as quantity.also there are other outlets such as nescafe and south Indian cafe

Dislikes

Campus is decent- campus is not so huge to hangout
Canteen provides good quality food but it is too small
Classes of 1st year are held in the porta cabins which do not have AC and gets durect sunlight.so it is good in winters but becomes difficult im summers to attend classes there

I found that this course not only increases your knowledge but also helps you to develop your personality to an extent. You can get a totally different point of view to see the society that you've never thought before Teachers take the classes regularly
