What Students Say

Likes

Infrastructure- it is very good and very thorough.
Classrooms- clean and tidy classrooms with well-maintained benches.
Library- good library with plenty of seating and resources.

Dislikes

Washrooms- dirty, and smelly washrooms, not the most well-kept.
Canteen- recently changed the service provider and the food is subpar.
Principal- too strict, and thinks very highly of himself, keeps too tight of a hand on the budget.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course curriculum, is very very good. It is vast and covers a variety of topics within the field and covers them thoroughly. There are subjects that get boring obviously, but overall it is well maintained.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay roughly around 17.5-18k per year. Because this is a part of UoD, my fees is not very high, I know that they do provide reservation benefits in the fees too, and I think my batchmates give the same amount of fees.

Campus Life

My campus life is very good. People and teachers are very friendly, we have campus animals also. Majority ofo our societies and committees are very active in their work and do it thoroughly with a lot of events.

Admission

I chose this college because, it is the only place where I got admission. I had applied to the Oberoi's STEP course and did not get it, and had applied to BHU as well but did not get admission. I did not get admission in BHU because of my low score in the general test in CUET. The admission for my college is the CSAS- Common Seat Allocation System in UoD.

Faculty

In my course, the faculty is okay-ish. There are certain teachers who are out of this world amazing teachers, and a few who, I dont understand, how they passed their PhD's. Teaching ability aside, all faculty is approachable, and maintain a good relation withe their and also go out of their way to help them.

Night Life

There are a couple of cafes in my campus that people are always sitting and vibing at. Around my college there are a lot of affordable food chains that make cheap and good food very reachable. As for late night activities, there are not a lot because it is majorly a residential area.

Placement Experience:

Many companies come as ever since USME has been installed at the east campus the tie-ups with the brands happened before that. So we were etaught accordingly the war corporate wanted us and that is how this has been done with solid precision and thus our placements have never jolted.

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.

Tale of a First Year

Placement Experience:

The college Offers campus placements which are mostly in the private sector. Students are eligible for Campus Placements after Completing the 4th semester or we say on completion second year. Many companies are brought on board By the placement cell of the college. In this list also Mkinsey, EY, KPMG, Which are some of the prominent rulers of their industries. The median package offered to UG was 6 lakhs per annum, Top 9 students were offered a median salary of 9,00,000 per annum. Around 490 were placed From campus placements of the college out of 1300 students eligible For the placements, These are only approximate figures and not exact. The highest package offered from the college is around 14,00,000 per annum. Talking about my plans after getting the degree is going for highest studies, Either Masters in economics or MBA in business economics.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus

This college isn't what I chose first of all. It's based on nta's allocation system in accordance to your cuet scores. The other colleges like srcc might outperform my College in terms of sheer placements and exposure to real world. No there's no rejection system under cuet.
