Likes
- Discipline. Regular classes on time practical and theory classes.
- there were fests and opportunities to present papers and projects as well.
- there were different lectures which were insightful and opportunities for exposure as well.
Dislikes
- limited infrastructure, as at that time new building was under construction. But I think now it is built.
Course Curriculum Overview
We had Four Year Undergraduate Program. It was quite comprehensive, practical, and practical oriented. So it was based with keeping in mind learning skills which could help in employment not just theory. While the theory part was relevant and quite comprehensive.
Internships Opportunities
College had compulsory internships so we got internship at NGOs and different places. There were no stipend as such. But it wasn't an internship where we didn't pay fee as well. It was good for learning skills and understanding the theories in real life settings and a work environment as well.
Placement Experience
Placement is there. There is a placement cell as well. Which helps in getting a placement. Also there are more options in different courses, so you can sit for those. Exactl number of students getting placed is hard to know. But most people from my class didn't sit for placement as they went for further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is at lower side as it is a govt college, fee must have increased since 2013 but it was 10k around that time. There were examination fee and practical fee as well per semester which were also affordable.
Campus Life
It was good. There were annual department fest and college fest as well. It is in heart of Delhi. So there are other colleges as well where one can visit and enjoy. There were sports events as well. There are students club for theatre and music and other things.
Admission
Other colleges usually have too much fees, and poor theoretical framework and no regular classes and also too many distractions. Also there college does not have a very good or spacious infrastructure, while the basic infrastructure is present. It could be one problem.
Faculty
Faculties were approachable and quite understanding. They're also very good with teaching and at theory and at practical as well. They understand the students need and expectations from course and were able to guide and prepare for future as well!
Night Life
There is no night life as there was no hostel at that time. While you can go to night life as it's in Delhi, but it would be on your own and with friends. Campus is usually day time and so there is no night time
