Computer science hons at delhi university

Likes

College was in a nice locality. Easy to reach and had great infrastructure.
Like most of the colleges in delhi university this college also doesn't have a hostel but PGs are available near college. Other than this the infrastructure is good . Fully ac labs nice Classrooms .
Teachers of my course were best . They all were very helpful qualified and knowledgeable. Also they were very kind and friendly. And created a healthy environment for studying. They prepared us not just for semester exams but for placement

Dislikes

Hostel facility was not present but its rare in DU.
Proper Basketball court was not present.

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for placements in the final year but internships are available for all years Students. Accenture deloite etc visited for placement. Highest package was 20 lpa and Avg package is 6 lpa. In my batch most of the students opted for higher studies. For a greater package. Most us will be doing mca.

Likes

Infrastructure is really good because of newly formed.
Crowd is really helping and good in nature.
Labs are well maintained and futuristic.

Dislikes

Library is relatively small. Can be made good in future.
Availability of college playground to play is difficult.
College canteen can be managed. It is in bad shape for now.

Placement Experience:

There is dedicated placement and carrier cell . They call the company interested in placement and internship. internship are also available which are paid. No. Of students getting placedis based on the students opting for placement. Which is about 20 Percent.

Likes

Teachers,People, Interactive Classes, events
Internship opportunities that are offered
No midterm exams are happening so less tension

Dislikes

Small Campus Size Comparative to other colleges
Canteen can be better in term of space and food as well
More kind of subjects can be offered in the optional field

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester exams, all will be eligible for campus placements. Many huge companies came for placements like Zomato, IBM, etc. To my knowledge one placement of 14 LPA was offered to a BMS student on our college campus we'll for details you can access the insta page of Ramanujan's placement cell. Further studies after getting the degree.

An excellent but underated college

Likes

Infrastructure of this college is always a plus point as it is beter than most of the colleges of Du.
It is equipped with all basic facilities such which you will need as a student with a gym.
A research lab is there for computer science students in which students work on different on going projects.

Dislikes

It's campus is small as compared to other Du colleges.
Playground is not large enough but it is satisfactory.

Placement Experience:

Placements offered here are average starting from 3Lpa to 6 Lpa but if you go for off-campus placements you will definitely get a much better package than those offered here by the companies. Students become eligible for on-campus placements after 2/3 years.

Discovering Excellence:A journey through DU

Likes

The very first thing I liked is that our teachers are always there to push ourself and get better and better.
The Computer lab with good and stable wifi.
Main building of the college it feels like more then 5 star hotel.

Dislikes

The campus is not that big so if you are coming to this college don't have much expectations from campus area

Placement Experience:

We have our placement cell and there are a lot of internships for all courses and all-year students. It helps us to connect with potential employers and secure job opportunities or internships. My aim is to get a degree of master and get a job in the data science field.

The camps life and canteen and many other thins
One professor i like most our vipin sir that teach awa and all new technologies and there style of teaching is so impactful

Dislikes

Faculty of mathematics is not good in our college
Size of our campus is not big as much other colleges
There is only one building and all class was held in porta cabin

Since childhood hood i have taken an interest in computers so for that reason I opted cs All faculties are good in Ramanujan college but the maths faculties are not as good all faculties Yes, all faculty members are very qualified See in our country colleges and special for our program CS is very difficult to pass in sem exam

Likes

The faculty and their support towards students
Sports faculty is also good and helpful for everyone
Quality of books in Library and the staff.

Dislikes

Canteen area as it lacks a bit of space.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have always been interested in technology and Ramanujan College is considered to be one of the best colleges in terms of computer science. There is a faculty-student ratio of approx 1:10. Every teacher is either a PhD holder or has applied for it.

Most Underrated College of DU

Likes

Library is the paced to look out for in college
Computer Labs are highly advanced with wifi
Faculty is just great with all teachers are really helpful

Dislikes

Canteen is just ok ok with not so much space
Sports facilities is not appropriate and upto mark
Ground is not so big so less space in ground also

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to pursue my career in the technical field so I opted for this course. The faculty is just amazing all teachers are very well endorsed with the advancement of technology. The student ratio is also good. All teachers are PhD holders in various subjects of CS. Exams are scheduled in six months and the level of exams is moderate.

Dislikes

Campus is bit short as compared to other colleges
Fees can be reduced a bit to make it affordable to all

Course Curriculum Overview:

because this course is more versatile as compared to other normal courses and faculty-student ratio is quite good in Ramanujan College and teachers use projectors and modern teaching methods. Exams are held in nearly 4-5 months and it is not that difficult to pass the exam.

Ramanujan college is good

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is one of the best colleges to enhance and develop your skills. The college has well-educated teachers. The teachers teach effectively, and they are friendly with students. The college conducts regular classes along with test classes. The teaching quality depends more on students and to how much they try to understand. The course curriculum is also relevant and not so tough for students. The teachers are very supportive. The exams are held according to semester.
