IISER Bhopal BS + MS Chemistry: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses at IISER is conducted through three channels: KVPY, JEE Advanced, and SCB, each accounting for 50% of admissions. General category students need a JEE Advanced rank under 10,000, while reserved category students can apply with any rank if seats are available. SCB applicants must be in the top 1% of their boards and pass a nationwide entrance test. Faculty at IISER are highly qualified, with most holding Ph.D.

degrees from prestigious institutions. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 30:1, with better ratios in some departments like Chemistry. The annual cost for students with scholarships is around 40,000 to 50,000 INR, and 1,00,000 to 1,10,000 INR for others, including hostel and mess fees. IISER is research-focused, with many graduates pursuing higher studies. The Career Development Cell is enhancing placement opportunities, with last year recording 50 placements.
