- The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
- Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
- Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.
Dislikes
- College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
- The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
- Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

- Good faculty and their friendly behavior
- Very strict about discipline and decoram.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year students are eligible for placement.
TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, WEBEL, IBM and many more companies.
Best students get more than 3 or 4 offers.
Highest is 72lpa
Average is 9LPA
APART from the recession time 100% placement. But in recession time 64%.
I will go for placement and then higher studies.

- I like the teaching of Faculties and we all have enough instruments in lab for our practical
- Placement is good enough and 80-85 percent students get placements
- I like the courses referred by the college for students which are very beneficial for placements
Dislikes
- Our campus is too short. There are no ground for playing
- The expanses is little much than other colleges
Placement Experience:
After 4 th semester students are eligible for campus placement.
Highest package is about 72 lakhs per year and lowest is 3.5 lacks per year.
TCS, PWC, Cognizent, Capgemini and many more companies come and take a bulk of students specially TCS.

- The library has a vast collection of books for a particular subject
- The research labs are well equipped with latest technologies

- Timing is quite strict and we are not allowed to leave before time
- The uniform is a bit uncomfortable and unbreathable

Students can sit for placements from the 7th semster of their course. Majority of the students gets placed and the recruitment process is quite straightforward. Companies such as TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys comes for placement

- The faculty members are very good as well as helpful
- The Placement department as well as training for placements and good
- The student clubs are well maintained and senior are very much interactive to juniors
Dislikes
- The security guards are too much harassing.
- The college environment is completely like school
- With having morning assembly as well as college prayers.

From 7th semester students are given the opportunity to appear for placements. There are various reputed IT companies that come for placement namely, Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, PWC, etc

Students are eligible for campus placements from semester 5. Many good companies like Wipro has given placements to UEMK students in past. Very few students get placements here and most students apply for placements off campus.

- Faculties here are very good and helpful
- Facilities are available to us to do further research for our projects.
- Subjects taught are interesting and up to dated to enlighten us about current scenarios
Placement Experience:
From the 7th Semester the student is eligible to take part in campus placements.
TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and many other companies visit the campus for recruitment procedure. Product based companies, startups as well visit the campus. Startups also recruit but are very less in number.
Preparation is also done so that students can pursue higher studies.

- Laboratory Facilities for the computer science students
- High Speed Free wifi, which is available for everyone
- Library facility, which has a large number of books on a particular subject

- The college is way too strict regarding the entry and exit times. Students cannot sit in the library during class hours
- The uniform is very uncomfortable and the shirt is not at all breathable
Placement Experience:
As far as I think, from the 7th semester, students are eligible for placements. Every student gets atleast 1 job offer, with the max being 3. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Capegemini, Infosys and many other service based companies come to offer placement to us.

- Cleanliness of campus and the aminities in classroom

- The techniques faculties used to teach us
- The placement issue of current batch really gives stress
- The question papers of exam, they are too difficult

The companies like TCS, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI, WIPRO etc visited and more than 200 offers made.
The highest package is 72LPA
The average package is 4LPA

- Helpful Faculties Who Help you as much as they can.
- College pushes you to your limits, and force you to surpass them.
- Grooming for placement begins as early as 2nd year.
Dislikes
- Too many tests, assignments, and projects.
- Strict discipline, very less freedom, high attendance criteria.
- It is compulsory to study UPSC Subjects. You don't have a choice.
Placement Experience:
3rd Year Students are Eligible.
This year so far,
Oracle took 6 students and offered each of them a Package of 19.32 Lakhs per annum.
IBM took 26 students and offered each of them a package of 14 lakhs per annum.
Many more companies are visiting like PWC, Accenture, etc.
I'm yet to get a placement.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:
- It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
- The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
- UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
- The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
- UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.
These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
