The library has a vast collection of books for a particular subject
The research labs are well equipped with latest technologies

Timing is quite strict and we are not allowed to leave before time
The uniform is a bit uncomfortable and unbreathable

Course Curriculum Overview

This course provides in depth knowledge about computer science and programming and it also helps one to know about the cutting edge technologies in todays world such as Machine Learning, blockchain technology, cloud computing. Faculty to student ratio is 1:70. The faculty members are highly qualified and have PhD degress in their field of study.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We have to tell the placement department about our interest in placement to get a NOC document from them. Further, online internships links are also given by the placement department time to time for the interested students to do internships

Placement Experience

Students can sit for placements from the 7th semster of their course. Majority of the students gets placed and the recruitment process is quite straightforward. Companies such as TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys comes for placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester, the fees is 70000. It remains same the entire semester. College provided scholarships to those who did remarkably well in their 12th board exams as a sign of encouragement to their hardwork. Scholarships are also available to batch toppers.

Campus Life

The campus life is good. We have different groups such as robotics groups, drama clubs, photography groups, coding clubs. Extra curricular activity such as cricket and football is played by the students. Table tennies and volleyball facilities are available too.

Admission

There was a entrance exam of the colleg, but as I have given WBJEE, i didnt require to give any additional exam to get into the college. The application form was given by the admission cell. The legibility was having science stream in 11th and 12th

Reality of IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

From fifth semester you are eligible for the intership . And from seventh semester you are eligible for the placement. Many companies visited our college such as TCS , IBM ,COGIZINANT, amd many more . The highest package is around 15 lpa and the average package is 4 - 5 lpa . The placement ratio is around 80 - 85 %

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker. I took admission in this college as I did not get a good rank in jee to get admission in any IIT of top tier colleges and had not option of a 1year drop and preparation.
