Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

GOOD EDUCATION GOOD JOBS

Likes

Environment of the college premises including all sectors .
Behaviour of every faculties are too good they are friendly .
Opportunity to occour knowledge is high here .

Dislikes

Canteen management is very bad here in the tiffin hours .
There is nothing to be disliked about the campus.
There is nothing to be disliked more than the above.

Placement Experience:

From the ending of their 6th semester students are eligible for their placements by the leading companies . Companies like PWC, TCS, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI , INFOSYS etc visits our college for the placements.

I have got the worst college

Likes

I have liked the disciplinary like the dress code and all
Campus is big enough for 5k students. It can handle that much of students
Liked the experienced teachers in the college

Dislikes

Campus doesn’t have any AIR CONDITIONED CLASSROOM which is required the most in these Hot Summer Days
Teachers are too strict and never compromises
Very strict for the attendance which should be done .

I love the growing of AI in current scenario thats why it made me choose this Course It will apply in the real world in the upcoming years We should more focus on the programming Difficulty level is enough as like IIT

Review of my college UEMK

Likes

Some pretty Faculty are helpful, they motivated us very well
Labs except computer labs are well-equipped
Strict rules of the college ultimately trained us for the hard world

Dislikes

Labs are not up to the mark like computer labs are ridiculous (Intel Pentium dual-core processor)
The campus is just awful. You are not allowed to exit the college till 04:15 pm as all the gates are closed 🔒.

Placement Experience:

• After 6 th semester students are allowed to sit for campus placement. • Brands like TCS, WIPRO, and Infosys are bulk recruiters. • The highest package was 72 Lpa(off-campus from UEM Jaipur) but the actual scenario is different average package is around 1.5-2.5 LPA • Around 40-50% of students getting on-campus placements. • My plan is to pursue higher education.

UEM College

Likes

The faulty members are very student friendly.
The rules of examination, they conduct two mid terms thats why wee can prepare better for semester.
The college is totally anti ragging campus.

Dislikes

The programming lab has many computer machine thats would not works.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for placemant. Amazon, TCS, Wipro, IBm visits our campus. Highest package is 72 LPA and avarage 7.5 LPA isgiven from our college. I am B.Tech from university of Engineering and Management after B.Tech I am want to complete M.Tech.

The Review Of UEM Kolkata

Likes

The library is having a good amount and different kinds of books journals.
The fest that occurs are nice and wonderful.
The faculty members are friendly and co operative.

Dislikes

The campus doesn't have a proper playground.
The size of the cafeteria is too small to accomodate all the students.
There is uniform system in the college which is not likable.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS Infosys Cognizant visit in the campus. The average package is seven to eight lakhs per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to do job in the Corporate sector.

Best and affordable canteen food and environment...
Teachers are too good and highly qualified.
Teaching methods are advanced and innovative.

Dislikes

Few faculties are not so good.. unable to teach properly
Cultural atmosphere is not upto the mark...

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty student ratio is 100:3...the qualification of the maximum faculties are too good but few faculties not so good. Also the teaching methods are advanced. The passing criteria for the exams are strict enough.

My college is among the topmost engineering colleges in the city according to the data till date this year, as it has already provided excellent job placements in the information and technology sectors.
After our even sem exams, our college arranges a Maker Fair Festival every year. During this festival, we have to prepare a project, and the faculty members select the best one. It is a great fair for engineering students.
I have chosen this college because I heard that it is one of the best colleges in Kolkata.

Dislikes

I dont think any loan facility is being given, as far as my knowledge goes it has not been started. But I think it will start in the future and it will help students then. Scholarships will also start in the future as they are not available now.
Also, the freshers party was such a terrible thing; there was nothing resembling a party over there.
Positive: Once you enroll in this college, you begin the process of getting placed from the very first day. Faculties work really hard.

Placement Experience:

University of engineering or UEM have achieved 100 percentage in incampus placements and with the proper salary package of starting package of rupees 30 thousand in starting.. I want to get a job in the corporate companies like tcs , accenture, capgemini

My experience at my college.

Likes

Regular exams and education related programs and contests were held regularly
Teaching methods are good enough and college foods are affordable.
The college program are good enough to let you free from stage fright

Dislikes

Few faculties are not upto the mark............
No stress on cultural fest...................

Placement Experience:

This year the placements were not upto the mark due to the current war senerio. But before this year the placements were very very good. Also previous year the students were less than the present few years so placements were easy.

Brief review of uem college.

Likes

I liked the library facilities provided by the college that's good.
I like the facilities for food and canteen.
I liked the ragging free environment in the college.

Dislikes

The fees is to high according to the quality of college.
Student to teacher ratio is very low.
They clam to give 100% placement but in reality it is less than 50-60%

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose cse(aiml) since this is what I was getting. Faculty student ratio is very poor there are 100 students in one class . But Qualification and quality of faculties are good. There are 3 exam term1, term2 and final semester exam.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
