- The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
- Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
- Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.
Dislikes
- College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
- The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
- Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

- My college is among the topmost engineering colleges in the city according to the data till date this year, as it has already provided excellent job placements in the information and technology sectors.
- After our even sem exams, our college arranges a Maker Fair Festival every year. During this festival, we have to prepare a project, and the faculty members select the best one. It is a great fair for engineering students.
- I have chosen this college because I heard that it is one of the best colleges in Kolkata.
Dislikes
- I dont think any loan facility is being given, as far as my knowledge goes it has not been started. But I think it will start in the future and it will help students then. Scholarships will also start in the future as they are not available now.
- Also, the freshers party was such a terrible thing; there was nothing resembling a party over there.
- Positive: Once you enroll in this college, you begin the process of getting placed from the very first day. Faculties work really hard.
Placement Experience:
University of engineering or UEM have achieved 100 percentage in incampus placements and with the proper salary package of starting package of rupees 30 thousand in starting.. I want to get a job in the corporate companies like tcs , accenture, capgemini

Placement Experience:
Average pakage per year is 600000 . It is a decent pakage offered as it provide better knowledge and better experience. The placement history is very must increasing from past years . Students get placed in bigger companies from this college

- Teaching methods are good enough and college foods are affordable.
- The college program are good enough to let you free from stage fright

This year the placements were not upto the mark due to the current war senerio. But before this year the placements were very very good. Also previous year the students were less than the present few years so placements were easy.

- I liked the library facilities provided by the college that's good.
- I like the facilities for food and canteen.
- I liked the ragging free environment in the college.
Dislikes
- The fees is to high according to the quality of college.
- Student to teacher ratio is very low.
- They clam to give 100% placement but in reality it is less than 50-60%
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose cse(aiml) since this is what I was getting. Faculty student ratio is very poor there are 100 students in one class . But Qualification and quality of faculties are good. There are 3 exam term1, term2 and final semester exam.

Atleast placement wise the college is somewhat good considering the number of companies it knows and students it can offer.
Students become eligible for campus placement and internship from 3rd year.
Highest package is 72lpa off campus and average package is 6lpa

- The workshop classes are great. We can learn a lot of stuff there and it's definitely fun to learn with all the practical experience with the machineries.
- The location of the university is great.
- Teachers are very friendly and helpful. Just submit your assignments and practical notebooks in time.
Dislikes
- In-campus football ground should have been a little larger.
- Cafeteria's menu is not good. Not a lot of healthy options.
- Without proper uniform, students face trouble while entering the college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The teachers are great. They are highly qualified.
The library is good. Got a huge collection of books.
There are a total of 3 exams in each semester which are term 1, term 2, and semester exam.
Study materials are provided by the faculties throughout the semester.

- Value for money, branding, assistance and supportiveness, discipline, course curriculum and grading.
Dislikes
- The way it is portrayed as if it is at par with IITs which is far from the reality, campus area size and fests, exposure.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are offered around the 6th semester onwards. TCS, Wipro, IBM, Oracle and a lot of reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment and 100% placement is not a myth as our curriculum is designed to include placement and competitive-oriented studies from the 1st semester itself. The average package tends to touch 5lacs per annum and the highest goes up to 82 lacs per annum for a software engineer at Google London. Personally, I am planning to get an MS after my B Tech degree.

- Some selected faculty are very helpful and helps anytime of the day without hesitation.
- Strict discipline : students have to maintain a decorum regularly including proper college dress.
- Has good placements records as per the brochure of the college.
Dislikes
- Very small campus there is hardly any place for sports activities.
- Some professors are not experienced at all and gives wrong information at times.
- Cultural fests are not upto the mark as expected.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course for a job, faculty and student ratio is 1:5, some teachers are good, term exams are nicely taken with proper curriculum Faculty members are of no help, and in terms of understanding any course, you have to study and understand on your own.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements in the 7th Semester. Many companies try to recruit students, like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys. The highest package may go upto 40 LPA and an average of 3 LPA. Previously there was a 100% placements rate, currently, it's 80%.

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:
- It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
- The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
- UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
- The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
- UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.
These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
