IIIT Dharwad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Now it has a brand new campus and also they got a good funded projects recently. And it's overall good. i am from karnataka so basically i choosed nit/iiits from South and in that i got in nit surathkal civil but was interested in CS so took iiit dharwad

From the 4th year onwards placement drives take place. Top recruiters include Infosys, Deloitte, Samsung group, etc. For the last 2 years placement % is above 90%. The highest was 15 LPA and the lowest was 5 LPA. You will get good placement opportunities.

Statistics of placement are average and improving rapidly. As the institute has shifted it's own campus there will be growth in placements. Top recruiters are Samsung group, Bentely-Motors lim, Deloitte, Infosys,etc. According to last year statistics highest salary offered was 15 LPA and lowest was 5 LPA. The average was around 6-7 LPA.

Placement is continuously improved from the establishment. In 2019 all eligible students got placed with the highest package of 10 LPA, lowest of 4 LPA, and an average of 6 LPA. In recent 2021 highest package has gone upto 15 LPA given by Deloitte. Top recruiters are Samsung group, Bently motors, Deloitte, Infosys, etc. Most of the students got internships in good companies. Day by day the reputation of Institut fur increasing. It's at the center of Pune and Bangalore so off-campus opportunities are also there.

IIIT Dharwad has a separate Carrer Guidance Cell which looks after the internships and placements. From the start of the 4th year onwards, you get eligible to seat in on-campus interviews. In 2019, 100% of eligible student was placed with the highest package of 10 LPA and average of 6 LPA, whereas in 2020 94% students were placed with 11 LPA highest package and 7 LPA average. In recent 2021 the highest package is around 15 LPA offered by Deloitte. Some top recruiters include Samsung Group, Bentley Motors, Intel, Infosys, etc. As Institute has got its permanent campus on-campus placement will surely increase.

Many companies related to Data Science and AI recruit students from here. The highest salary package offered is 14 lpa by jio. The average salary offered was around 7 lpa. In the 2021 batch, in the first phase of the placement process, the top companies which are visited were Microsoft, Code Nation, Amazon,Jio, and many more.

The main attraction was that it is a college of national importance and because it is an IIIT we expect a great from it in the future in the field of technology. The college location is comparitively near to major technological hubs of India like banglore, mumbai etc.

It is a institute of national importance. Near Bangalore, so better placements. Great upcoming campus. Hubli has a lot of companies and startups. The senior - junior relationship is amazing. Everyone helps you with any problems you have. Good coding environment provides opportunities to explore interests.

I was allotted this college in JOSAA special round. It's institute of national importance with a new campus so I chose it. I took electronics in 11th-12th and I got that branch for degree so I accepted the seat as I already knew the basics.

It's a college of national importance.And faculties are quite good from foreign nations. Some of them are from Mut and Sweden.This college is governed my MHRD so we get lots of perks also like other iiit this iiit has its own campus with very good infrastructure.
