- Faculty is great the faculty members are highly knowledgeable and bring a wealth of experience to the classroom.
- Mou has been signed between iit dharwad and iiit dharwad which will increase the placements opportunities and increase the level of learning.
- We have a good classrooms with well furniture and a smart tv and even a good speed wifi in every class.
Dislikes
- 1: 7 ratio faculties are chill , but they are not teaching as expected this is very poor , not giving exact grades , more absenties than students interaction is on 24/7 like hi hello... greetingd of the day
- Chicken is not present in the mess menu which is very sad.
- Students have to get it on their own most of the time because the placement cell is very bad.

- When compared with newly built iiit’s our college had good teachers infrastructure sufficient for 1200 people.
- Few of the faculty members are really good. They try to be available any time possible and solve the doubts that you get
- Campus life is good when you have that close group of friends with whom one can enjoy any moment so I’m blessed with good friends which is reducing the hate toward my college
Dislikes
- Poor gender ratio is one thing which I (everyone) hate. Ratio is 12:1 in our campus.
- Strict 85 percent attendance is another irritating factor. When you fall behind 85 percent you are given a backlog in that subject
- Pre requisite is another thing which I hate. It is when you fail a particular subject then you are not allowed to take a subject in next semester which related to failed course
Placement Experience:
Students in 4th year are eligible for campus placements. Here our college does not have good placements and the companies that visit are also not that great. Students are often stressed about it because of poor management from the placement cell. Our college website says 90 percent of students are placed but reality says otherwise. I plan to go abroad just like every other Indian.

- The environment around the campus is good.
- Wifi facilities 24 by 7 is one of the best thing I like in this college
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are not at all good. There are few washing machines so we face lot of issues while washing clothes.
- The main reason is that the placements are not good. There are very few companies visiting our college
Course Curriculum Overview:
Since I am interested in computers I have decided to take CSE BRANCH. The faculty here is not too much good. They have done their PhDs from various NITs but teaching is not that effective. There are 64 boys and 6 girls in the CSE branch. There are two exams like mid sem and end sem. They are not that difficult to pass

- Coding culture is improving here as many people here are into CP
- No ragging in college all seniors are well behaved

- Mess food is below my expectations but it is improving
- sometimes there are problems regarding hostel

Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements in the 7th semester. Many companies like Amazon, cognizant, Infosys, tcs, etc. come to college. Last year because of the recession the placement percentage was 70 percent. I am planning to go for higher studies or an MBA or UPSC.

- IIIT Dharwad Campus infrastructure is good
- Sports committee and clubs are also very nice
- Most faculties have a great talent of teaching.
Dislikes
- I did not liked the mess food that much
- Locality and connectivity is very poor, main road is 3.5km away from college and main city is 8km away from the college.
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements, companies like Wipro, Goldman Sachs, Amazon and many more visited the college and I don't have accurate information about it as seniors have not discussed much about it, The Highest package till now is 35lpa which was offered by Amazon and average is 12lpa. Around 90% of students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is for higher education.

- The sports facilities and sports ground are not well managed
- Classes and libraries are not well managed according to the fees we pay

From 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements.. companies like Amazon, Mercedes, and Infosys have visited. this year due to the recession fewer companies visited the campus.6 students were placed in Amazon..highest package is 46 lpa and the average package is 12 lpa. in 2022. 100 Percent placement was there. now the placement is ongoing. I plan to go for an IT job.

- Faculties are nice and you can easily approach them.
- You do not have much classes so you do coding in hostel.
- You can score well in exam just studying before exam.
Dislikes
- Negative attitude of students, they just want to Netflix and chill.
- Fees is too much and something water don't come.
- Placement are not happening much, companies are not coming.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Student to faculty ratio is fine as they divide the branch into batches of around 30-60 students to micromanage better, and they do that also to give me the proper attention that every student requires, and the teachers are friendly.

- Faculties are decent in college. Most of them are helpful in nature.
- The infrastructure and study environment are also pretty nice.
Dislikes
- Campus Life is really void. Not much activity happens in this college.
- The placements are not upto the mark considering other newer IIITs.

The college placements are average. 7th semester onwards, students are eligible for placements. According to the college site, this year the average placement offered was 11.52 lakhs. Some companies that visited the college were Nvidia, Wipro, and other small startups. The highest package offered was 35 lakhs according to the college site and the lowest was around 5-6 lakhs. Around 68% of the students were placed in 2023. Some students are offered internships in their 4th year.

As the college is newly built so there are various doubts in minds of students regarding the placements but the college is doing very well in terms of placements.
The reason is the great coding culture on the campus, enthusiastic students, and supportive teachers and the college location as it's located in Karnataka provides an edge to it.
Last year the average package was 8lakhs/annum and the highest package was 42 lakhs.

Here the average package for the year 2021 is 8 LPA and the highest was 25 LPA.
More than 90% of the students were placed.
The students can seat in on-campus placement from the 7th semester onwards.
