It is a institute of national importance. Near Bangalore, so better placements. Great upcoming campus. Hubli has a lot of companies and startups. The senior - junior relationship is amazing. Everyone helps you with any problems you have. Good coding environment provides opportunities to explore interests.

The syllabus here is up to mark, since it is an Institute of Information Technology, the whole curriculum revolves around it. No extra subjects like chemistry and engineering drawing. Since the college has tie-ups with several companies present in Hubli itself, there is a lot of industrial exposure. Hackathons are organised by these companies and many students of our college keep winning prices in them. College encourages participation in these hackathons. The faculties are both good and average, there's always room for improvement. The help from seniors makes up for the couple of average faculties.

Almost all the students were placed. There were several companies. The highest package was around 12-13 lpa. Students have been placed in companies like Adobe, Samsung, etc.

Several events are held throughout the year. Technical events include the tech fest, hands on workshops held by coding club, hackathons, online gaming contests etc. The cultural events start with the fresher's day, cultural fest which has several cultural and literary events, and several others. An annual sports meet, and the college participates in Inter IIIT Sports meet too. Everyone gets a chance to participate, the clubs encourage participation by students.

Since it is going to be a new campus, there is going to be everything, whole college, hostels, classes, labs, even the open areas will have WiFi connectivity. There are enough facilities for sports and a fitness centre. A library, labs, and even incubation centre for startups. Rooms provided for several clubs, and stages. Since the hostels are brand new, you don't need to worry about a lot of stuff. Until now, we were in a transit campus, but the college had provided everything there too. Both the college and hostels had Wi-Fi, facilities were provided for sports, for indoor games, the college itself had them, and they could be accessed by anyone at anytime. The library was decent sized, the lab equipment was also okay.

The girls hostel is built by Infosys, it cam accommodate about 300 girls. It is spacious and brand new. The boys hostel is also very spacious and yes, brand new. The rooms are triple sharing for first year students. The college does not allow students to live in PGs they can only live outside of hostel of they live with their guardians.
