Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum effectively prepares students for real-world applications and further academic pursuits. it combines theoretical knowledge with practical experiences through project-based learning, case studies, and internships. the frequency and timing of exams are generally balanced, allowing for adequate preparation

Placement Experience

2.5

From the 7th sem students are eligible for the placements their are many companies visit to the campus like google amazon flipkart and many other but i am not aware of the names of each and every companies. the highest package is given by amazon i think as i heard a package of 1cr got by a student. and many of them even got 5 lpa. percentage of the students getting placed is not fixed as it depend on the student skills and the no of companies visited to our college. my plan is to get a good placement and do a regular job.

Fees and Financial Aid

tution fee is arounf 1.5 lakh per semester and no such hikes are being in this college. the complete cost of our education including tution fee service fee and other complulsary fees is around 4 lakh per year and 16 lakh for the full course. scholarships depends on the state and category u belonf to. as its not for every student. till now no job roles and stipend has been awarded to me.

Campus Life

3

the no of fests and events in this college is less compared to other colleges. we have an annual event called iiit habba and some basic events like independence day repub lic day karnataka rajyotsava etc and even their are many club events are being conducted by the clubs. we have a good classrooms with well furniture and a smart tv and even a good speed wifi in every class. when it comes to the sports we have a good interest in sport as we have inter iiit and intra iiit so its good for sports. running social groups and creating new clubs and they have a good impact for their students.

Admission

for the eligibiity of the course in iiit we need to get a good rank in jee advanced to get a seat in this college, no other type of admission are accepted in our college. application form will be provided in the josaa councelling as it will be provided once u get a good rank in jee and get a chance to get admission in the iiit and nit. reservation benefits are given for those who have a category such as sc st and ews obc etc. the frequency of the exams is balanced for the whole sem. and difficulty is moderate. as of now their is no improvement suggested in admission process as everything is online

Faculty

4

When it comes to the faculty they are helpful and supportive to the students and they even help every time by guiding us. it only happens when students try to engage the teacher in a good way. it's not like they come to us and help us. the way of teaching of some faculties is the best we understand everything if we listen to the class carefully and it will be helpful for the exams as many questions will be from the class notes. The faculty-to-student ratio is also good every student has a faculty advisor who helps us in any way we need when we express our problem they will try to solve the problem. so overall I feel the faculties are good and supportive.

Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business.
