Perfect Just on point As much knowledge and trained brain cells one would need in working world of corporates Best proof is the package that companies cater to bsc it graduates is more than engeenering courses itself.
I choose this course because I am interested in physics and I love physics. This college campus faculty is so intelligent and polite. Every teacher comes from one of the most famous colleges and he's very very intelligent.Teaching method is very smooth In year two-term exam is taken by the college and 4 test is also taken by the college. No, it's not difficult to pass exams every teacher helped to clear the doubts
Since this is a 3-year course, there are 6 semesters overall (2 per year). Each semester has 2 unit tests and 1 end-semester exam. The exams are good enough to score decent marks provided you are regular at revising your syllabus daily, completing your projects on time, and paying attention during lectures.
Being Xavier's student means you will always be surrounded by tight deadlines and tests keeping you quite busy. It is very important that you score well in these tests as it makes it easier in the final sem exams. The teachers are very knowledgeable, ever ready to help you unless you create a mess. The teachers teach through ppts, and books, sometimes they use props, rock/mineral samples, maps, etc to teach practically. Make sure you make full use of the library.
I chose this course because I am interested in this subject in school time I learn computer language but I didn't qualify jee mains exam then I decided to choose this course. The facilities are too well most of the faculty are Bangali due to state government policy the student ratio to small due to several seats. Exam times are 3 hours for each subject (expect practical exam).
I choose this course BSc as i have to pursue a career in UPSC and need a Bsc career for it for every 60 students there is one faculty who guides and inspires students. Qualification of Faculties are Master in their respective field and few are PhD. term exams were held twice a year and are decently tough to score very good marks
The options for choosing the course are plenty and good too as many options are there to choose and specialise. Though, some of them are just outdated. They also provide the industry exposure trip in the final year. Plus, All the faculty members are extremely well, educated and supportive. I feel proud to cover the shades of that kind of eligible and mankind professors. whenever you need it, they will help and cooperate with you.
The exams were very timely and we were informed prior on the basis and the timetable was given, thus 3 exams were being taken and the difficulty level was more than moderate to pass. The pros were that as the exam was taken timely I had to not prepare daily because due to exams we had regular time to prepare.
Approx 7000 per annum. Scholarship do exists. I am not aware of it. Since the fees is so low we rarely think of scholarships etc. I didn't sit for placements since I was persuing for masters. But I have heard they are good. College do have good contacts with elite institutions like TIFR which can help you secure a decent internship
Maths has been one of my favourite subjects and I always y to my career in maths. In Xavier's College there are a total of 5 professor for maths who have done their MSc and have been working in this college for the past few years. Their teaching is very good. They use various methods for teachings like using PowerPoint presentation and blackboard to giving real-life example to make the concepts very clear for students. There are revision lectures conducted for students. Also before the exam there are doubt sessions in which a student can clear his/ her doubt. For a year college conduct 2 semester in which each semester has 3 exams for a course. There is two continuous internal assessment for twenty marks each and one last semester for sixty marks each. At the end of the semester, all the mks are added and the final score is revealed. The exams are a bit difficult to challenge students intellectual skills but students are trained for such exams that they don't find difficult or stressful.
