Excellent reputation, good syllabus, refered MHRD List. Admission information is available in the website. Its a Excellent college they have a dynamic syllabus. Like it changes as times change. Our syllabus was set the year before we joined and by the time I graduated it already transformed a lot for our juniors. The best thing about Xavier's is the students. There is great college culture and a wonderful environment for studying. Students are encouraged to learn beyond and books and the system have a unique way of maintaining passion in students.
Course Curriculum Overview
If your aim is to gey good marks maybe Xavier's is not the best place. But if your aim is to learn physics. Then I am not sure if any other college except IITs and IISERs could do a better job. As I said there is a wonderful syllabus and it's well up-to-date. The college have their usual exams and they are as difficult as any BSc course. But what makes Xavier's unique is the projects. There are approximately 18 - 20 projects during the course of 3 years, there help us better understand the subject and generate genuine passion for the subjects. Projects might have made the best days in Xaviers.
Internships Opportunities
College does sometimes help you get in contact with good profs for internship but, mostly it's just you. I worked at IIST and I got it on my own. It was probably the best thing that happened in my life.
Placement Experience
I have no clue about it. But I have heard that it is generally for final years.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Approx 7000 per annum. Scholarship do exists. I am not aware of it. Since the fees is so low we rarely think of scholarships etc. I didn't sit for placements since I was persuing for masters. But I have heard they are good. College do have good contacts with elite institutions like TIFR which can help you secure a decent internship
Campus Life
We don't have a large campus but don't let that give you wrong image about the campus life. It has a very vibrant campus life. There is a saying in the college." there is always something happening in the college all the time" fests , exhibitions, seminars or plain old bake sale. We have a huge Library is Has a great college of centuries old books and many first editions. And the college also has a honours section for expensive and rare books.
