Remarks

the admission unlike the usual colleges of the north takes place in May. All a student who wants to be a part of a BA or BSc program, needs to do is to register by filling an online application on the main college website and he will be eligible, after securing a good merit score in 12th. But the admissions to BMS is based on scores in the entrance test and Class 12 aggregate marks. Also, there is a 15% seat for the management quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The options for choosing the course are plenty and good too as many options are there to choose and specialise. Though, some of them are just outdated. They also provide the industry exposure trip in the final year. Plus, All the faculty members are extremely well, educated and supportive. I feel proud to cover the shades of that kind of eligible and mankind professors. whenever you need it, they will help and cooperate with you.

Placement Experience

3.5

Xavier's is a college where all the companies come together to provide different types of jobs according to the level of calibre of the deserved students. They prefer knowledgeable and hardworking candidates for the job. The lowest salary you may get is 6-7 lacks per year. And the maximum pay depends on your ability and skill. The companies are big enough to start. Big brands like Google, Wipro, etc come for placements. Even I got placed and joined a company (I won't take the name though) with a monthly salary of 30000 but since I wanted to pursue higher studies so I dropped out of it after attending 2-3 days and realized I cant manage both the things together. For the senior batch, the packages offered went from 3 LPA to 9 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are quite moderate as it is only 1.47 lakh in total for a three year period and a professional course so it's a great opportunity in my view. Though life in Mumbai is quite expensive so if you are an outside student like me, then the whole undergraduate would come out to be pretty expensive. Rest, I don't know about any concessions in the fees and don't have knowledge about any scholarship because I didn't get any concessions in my fees.

Campus Life

3.5

The college campus is lush green and looks like a historical monument, not at all like a typical University. It has also been a part of many movies as well so everybody knows that the infrastructure is quite amazing. The classroom has digital facilities. Wi-Fi is there on the campus. Indoor sports are available, and there is a court for basketball and volleyball. The hostel rooms are good. The canteen is big and clean and the food provided there is average. Plus, there are many events like Alumni meet, rocking shows, Christmas Eve, Sadbhawna Samaroh that are held on the college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I\n Chose this course in specific this college.Because first of all , it was afforrable as compared to others institutes.I can say that we weren't getting any experience which can prepare us for the real world experience like we were made to sit in workshops which was not at all connected to our curriculum. And then later on, when we said we don't want to attend it.We were given lame excuses like this will help you. And we will give you certificates for this. And later on , we were given nothing. Course needs a lot of improvement.I guess because they doesn't favor student feedbacks. The exam are typically in june and depends upon ycmou college dosent have any role to it and its not that difficult with basic knowledge you can score well.

I already mentioned library should have more updated books and classroom structure should be more updated. Faculty sir good enough for preparing us for real world applications through their simple learning method. Weekly and monthly practical exams are conducted by University for preparing of final examination.

The course provides an exceptional knowledge of the fundamentals of physics and its application in various fields. The course is designed to prepare the students well. The teaching method is excellent for the teachers to use real-life examples and exciting visuals while teaching. However, the course can be improved by adding some modern physics fields such as astrophysics and quantum mechanics to the curriculum.
