- Various big companies offering a good package comes to college every year and a good number of student get placements every year.
- A good faculty having a great mentor skills and expertise in different subjects, teachers are helpful and coordinator.
- There are not as many fests as in other colleges but we do have a good number of clubs and societies that makes college life interesting and exciting.
Dislikes
- The annual fest is very nice and happening but the regular college life is close to hell if you are an average student.
- The fines are more in this college and students faces a lot of problems
- The professors are unfriendly and sometimes very rude and not understanding. also i find them pretentious.

- The emphasis on education and discipline
- The faculty is amazing, with exceptional guidance and appreciation
- The teaching intensive mode in college making sure that the students are aware of every aspects of the syllabus
Dislikes
- The infrastructure could have been better. Also understandable given the history of the college, although renovated rigoursly still needs better facilities.
- The attendance is compulsory, thus making it harder for students to pursue anything else other than their degree.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course syllabus covers wide aspects of English literature. Thus, making it easier for students to access the academia in future.
The teaching methods are very school-ish often making it hard for students to adjust and the teaching is rigorous and requires continuous preparation from the students.
The timings of the exams can make ot hard for students to cope up, as the exams always seems to happen back to back. Thus, the students are in constant pressure of studying.

St. Xavier's College, Kolkata is a reputed institute known for its academic excellence. The main reason of joining was the discipline of college. The education quality of the autonomous institute is such that it's own curriculum and methodology is unique.
