- The thing I like the most is the professionalism and the discipline of the college. There are number of fests going on all around the year . Brilliant facilities for sports as well.
- Canteen in the college is very affordable with a tremendous variety in the menu section. Generally fresh.
Dislikes
- Majority of the people are Bengali so if you’re an outsider you might have some trouble dwelling in.
- Sometimes too much of the strict rules may make life miserable for you.
Internships Opportunities:
There are pretty good internship programs all through the year in our college. You get to have a lot of new experiences and opportunities. You can and you will easily get an internship if you try around well .
Likes
- The college is a great place for holistic development as not only studies but many opportunities for extracurriculars are also available
- The crowd is very diversified and thus there are variety of cultures to learn from
Placement Experience:
Campus placemnts are offered in the college on the yearly basis and theaverage placement according to the data is 3.50lpa - 24lpa (lakh per annum) , companies like TCS DELOITTE KPMC INFOSYS TITAN JP MORGAN HSBC ect provides opportunities for placement in the college and 67 percent of people are placed (stats of the 2024 batch).

- Professors here behave so well and they themselves ask us again and again whether we have any doubts.
- Our course material is too deep and has covered almost all the aspects of commerce field be it economics, statistics, or accountancy.
Dislikes
- Canteen is quite small and is a tad expensive too.
Student Snaps:
Placement Experience:
Placements are significant as for B.Com (Hons) it's as good as 100%. Of course all the students don't apply but whoever applies more or less are placed in Federal Bank, Yes Bank, Genpact and Deloitte among various others. Last year's placements average were of 6 lakhs but it will rise as in four years i think the median will go up to 10 lakhs or so.

- Faculty is top notch, No external tuition is required if anybody attends the class sincerely.
- Canteen Is too good and affordable.Foods are tasty too.
Dislikes
- Carrying marks is little bit tough, Teachers don't give marks so easily,
- Campus life is little bit hectic,but manageable
Internships Opportunities:
AIM INDIA ,FOOLDHAN, OPEN WINGS EDUCATION, MY FUTURE COM and mane more companies offers internship opportunities. Avg approx stipend is 1000-3000. Internship duration varies company to company. You have to just showcase you skills to grab them.
Likes
- The campus is spacious and beautiful, the faculty is very helpful and friendly. The college hosts events and speaker sessions for more exposure for students.
Dislikes
- The students are arrogant and they are less inclusive.
- There is groupism between the departments and a lot of drama goes around.
Internships Opportunities:
The Placement cell which is a college society is responsible for placement opportunities for students. They put up different offers with eligibility criteria on their notice board and students can apply from the link provided by them. These opportunities are frequent so students can easily apply.
Likes
- The quality of infrastructure overall is good 3.5/5. The classrooms on top floor and few other classes on different floors have air conditioner and they are very nice the benches are okaish and canteen is also okayish
- There is parking facility for two wheelers which is really nice. The library is nice and students in morning batch are good, friendly and helpful. The ego attitude problem doesnot exist.
Dislikes
- The strictness for being late and regarding attendance.
- The uniform adherence is must. You strictly cannot wear round neck tshirts you have to wear collar tshirts or shirts
Internships Opportunities:
There are society's and clubs in St xaviers College which you can join and they will assign you certain project and challenges which will push you and expand your cognitive thinking and problem solving capabilities but for the first semester the first two semester I don't think that internship opportunities provided by the college itself because I am currently in semester 1 so I don't know about the internship opportunities but what I have heard from seniors that placement cell is really hard working and the opportunities provided are good. Apart from that you can easily reach out to companies and places personally right now I myself am doing an internship in a startup and the life balance is good because I'm free for the whole day after college hours.
Likes
- Best feature would be the surrounding amidst which I get to stay and helps to gain good experience. Everyone around me are good in academics and have some defined purpose in their life.
- The campus is huge, with a nice ground to play cricket or football, basketball court, seating area, table tennis room etc. It helps in overall development of the students.
Dislikes
- The classrooms are a bit old fashioned, with half the students not getting access to fans. The air conditioners do not work half the times.
- Some of the faculty members are a bit too strict which hampered the interest of some students in that subject. The doubts were not attended by some particular teachers.
Internships Opportunities:
The internships start from 3rd year, so I dont have any personal experience. But from what I learnt from my seniors, companies like Accenture, Delloite, and other service and consulting companies appraoch for internships, with stipends starting from around 10k

- Six Days classes in a week i.e. Monday-Saturday

The college run placement cell offers internship opportunities to students of all years throughout the year in companies such as patanjali , deloitte , kpmg , etc. The montly stipend one gets is somehwere around 4000-8000.

- The college campus is good and the faculties are amazing for the student
- It is not just a place for learning bookish knowledge but also helps to develop a persons skills and helps to face real life situations
Dislikes
- College and high school is in the same campus

Various internship opportunities are provided from the college on the basis of the performance of student in their academics as well as on the basis of their non academic talents ans skills some of the companies are Tata,PWC,Delloite,ITC etc wich prove placement to the students in various fields as per their course selected and knowledge

- The environment of the college is healthy and you are motivated towards your goal .
- The exposure that this college gives is immense and you get to learn too many new things when you interact with each other .
Dislikes
- The college is way to strict regarding the attendence and this becomes very extreme for the students so as to cope up with other professional courses which they are pursuing
- The infrastructure is not too much modern like classes don't have air conditioner; canteen also doesn't have an ac .
Internships Opportunities:
The college provides internship opportunities which are important for the holistic development of the students . The summer internship that the college provides is a compulsory intership that all students must do . This compulsory thing will enforce thee students to do the internship and they will get to learn new new things. The companies that came were swiggy Zomato Aditya Birla group Reliance Industries adani group tata sun pharmaceuticals Deloitte Google KPMG Hero . These companies provide pre-placement offers and internship for the students . This year the placement and internship program was held for 7 days and we saw 600 students being participated and over 100+ internships being offered . The roles were of the managerial roles mainly . Manager in different different fields for the development of the students .
