As of 2019, admissions to Bachelor courses at the college are primarily based on Class XII results, with a specific entrance exam for the Physics Department for General Category students, requiring a minimum of 83% in Mathematics and Physics combined. Reserved Category students are selected solely based on Class XII marks. Physics classes were taught by seven lecturers from 2012-2015, focusing on student understanding and doubt clearing. The fee for lab-based departments ranges from 60,000 to 70,000 INR for the entire course, whereas arts students have lower fees.
University fees are 110 INR per month, totaling 3,960 INR over three years. While the college doesn't offer major scholarships, students can apply for Central and State Government scholarships with staff assistance. Accommodation includes three boys hostels and two girls hostels, but no campus job opportunities. The placement cell is active with companies like Indigo, Cognizant, Amazon, Infosys, and TCS recruiting, especially from the CS, BCOM, and BBA departments, although placement opportunities are limited in some areas.
Despite not offering B.Tech degrees, many graduates pursue higher studies or private sector jobs. The college aids students through a dedicated placement officer and Alumni Association. Students often engage in summer research or internships to enhance skills. Financial support is available for needy students through free studentship. The Physics Department is recognized for organizing seminars on advanced topics, fostering students' interest in the field.
