Placement Experience:

From the final semester, the students get placements offer. Till now, companies like Amazon, Tata, IBM etc have visited and made offers to plenty of students and offered jobs too. Percentage of students are roughly 60% based on placements. For me, after having an English Hons degree, i would sit for the cat exam and pursue MBA. Later when I am independent and have a stable job and life, i wish to sit for UPSC and do civil services.

Life of a first year BBA student of Scottish Church College

Placement Experience:

Since I've plans for higher studies, I did not come to this college seeing about its placement. But according to my knowledge, this last month, a lot of students got good placement in good companies with average of 3-4lpa. But none of BBA students got placement. And I'm a first semester BBA student, that's sad. Hopefully by the time I reach my last year, my friend gets placed.

The placement cell could have been more active. The placement cell is decent, the package offered is also decent

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell which is active and sometimes holds seminars on behalf of different companies. Students from sem 5 , who have cleared the previous semesters can sit for placements. ICICI Prudential, Bajaj Finance, Aditya Birla Finance, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, EY, HDFC Bank, visit for recruitment. The average CTC is 4 to 5 LPA, the highest CTC last year was 9 LPA offered by HDFC Finance.

Dislikes

There are some minor things which can be improved. The organisation and management of different activities of the college can be done in a better way. In terms of placements, there should be more opportunities for the students.
Also the college should provide better internship programs for it's students .

Placement Experience:

The students of the 6th semester are eligible for campus placements. The placement cell started in 2004 and it has successfully provided placement to a large section of graduates over the years. Initially the companies are invited to take part in campus recruitment drive . Thereafter the interested students register with the placement cell and participate in the campus drive. Some of the major companies which visited in the session 2023-24 are TCS , Amazon, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd, British Telecom, Genpact, Crizac Pvt Ltd, Glenmark Life sciences Ltd, etc. In total 150 students sat for placements and more than 60% got placed. The highest package offered was 3 lakhs pa and the average package was 2 lakhs pa. A lot of students who opt for higher studies and research prefer not sitting for placements. I did not appear for placements as I have applied for further studies in Masters in other colleges.

On the 3rd year of the course the students are eligible for the conpus placements There are a variety of companies who comes to hire students from Scottish chruch.. Like L&T, Amazon, flipkart, TCS, etc Percentage of students getting placement is usually 35-45%

The placement surgeon from BBA department in the companies which come or Infosys Amazon and then cognisant another videos, popular companies literally 20 seconds away for the placements. Nearly tension displaced and we provide really a good opportunity for learning and the placements are really above average.
