We will be introduced to all scholarship opportunities so we don't miss them.
I liked the way lecturers utilize class hours to help students with their studies
College has a good environment and with full of greenery and serene beauty.

Dislikes

There are not much things to dislike about the college but the communication gap between north indian students and south indian students can be observed
The food there is somewhat bad and needs to be improved
Campus is a bit outside from city not so far but 30 minutes away.

IIITDM a place where learn by doing

Remarks:

hostels are amazing , good faculty , proximity to the main city.the teachers and staff are always ready to help us and always give value to students opinion.the curriculum is amazing , it has design oriented approach which is not present anywhere in the country this makes you really special when you pass out of the college

IIITDM kancheepuram, a moderate college for students

Remarks:

I wanted to pursue CS and I was getting it in my college for sure. Although I was getting CS in some eastern states due to poor development in eastern states I chose my college. If you are interested in design as well I will recommend you otherwise not.

Remarks:

All the infrastructures are good but the college lacks some facilities like AUDITORIUM , Less placement for mechanical engg. Hostel is very nice and college is located at a place which is free from noise. Anyone can take admission through JOSAA counselling after clearing jee mains. Placement for CSE and ECE branches are good but for mechanical its very less untill you have good knowledge of coding.

IIITDM is a good place to go if you care about design as much as engineering.

Remarks:

The incorporation of design in the curriculum, to get a more holistic approach to engineering. This would help me stand out from the millions of students during a classic engineering course with the core courses. We have design and managements courses in every semester beginning from sem 2. Also being a dual degree I would be able to pursue both a bachelors and masters in Computer Science.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

Placements scenario in IIITDM Kancheepuram is not so appealing to brag about, as of statistics 95+ Companies visited, 136+ total offers and the highest package is 51 LPA. Two senior students who graduated in 2020 got 42 LPA offer from Adobe. Before them, two students got an offer from Amazon 28 LPA.

Remarks:

I have got a good rank in jee mains and I have chosen some colleges according to my rank. I gone for jee rounds, I got nearly 4 to 5 colleges but I choose iiitdm Kanchipuram. Because it is the India top 2nd in iiits. it's educational and infrastructure is soo good. One more plus point is it is nearer to iiit Madras some of the teaching faculty will come from iiit Madras. so I choose this college

Placement Experience:

all the students are allowed for placements in their final year. Placements are not good as there is no good team for that. Amazon, virtues, Zentrum, etc some 2 offers. Highest 44 LPA lowest 3lpa 30% Begin a startup .

Diverse curriculum with its main focus on design and manufacturing Best National institute after IIT Madras in Chennai Best faculty with all of them having completed their phD from premier IITs Being near to my home town
