I love my college

Likes

I like the teaching and non teaching faculty they are so friendly
The canteen staff are so good including food are nice
The campus of college are not so large but it's ok the labs are well manage other co curriculum activities are happening we like that .

Dislikes

The hygiene of washrooms are not good they should be neat and clean

Placement Experience:

I think after 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement There are so many ranked students who get offered for job but our college provides placement for all students in very good package as per their profile. I have so many Plans after getting degree

The Vaze college outline

Likes

provides placement, internship opportunities and various campaigns and has a better quality campus
they are precise about the curriculum and obeys the guidelines
keeps engaging with students and has better facilities overall also has amazing events

Dislikes

they must focus on developing infrastructure
the classroom are way too old and sometimes it feels really hot there
must have a bit clean washroom and sanitation facilities

But as far as I've seen the faculties must improve some aspects of the curriculum and have a great relationship with students, when the student is unable to speak in any internals the faculties must not only listen but sometimes correct them with a little push which might help them and complete there work

EVERYTHING ABOUT KELKAR/ V.G.VAZE COLLEGE

Likes

Some of the teaching staff really know what they are teaching
Externals department of the the college committee is really active
The Auditorium is good and the department provides camera and other facilities

Dislikes

The college needs reconstruction, the building has cracks
The toilets needs cleaning and it stinks
Some of the teaching staff should be changed as the students can teach their subject better than them

Lectures are always so engaging, and they have a remarkable ability to explain complex psychological concepts in a way that's easy to understand. Social psychology is agreat subject but the professor is bit Rude
They have a assistant professor who is teaching Health psychology , she's very young but her knowledge is really great , so teaching staff selection is great in this department
Friendly students all over college , you can sit and have a conversation with anyone. There are studious , players , dancers many categories , vaze sanskriti is gret committee they are holding our great Indian values

Dislikes

Toilets are never clean , librarian staff is rude don't allow you to enter without I'd or library pass. Like how am I inside the college if I am not a student ?
Canteen food is getting degraded , they famous chilly rice is no more that hyped. Exam committee has implemented a wrost rule of 1kt exam for a year , due to this every student is suffering. This is a way to earn money thru weak students .
Non-teaching staff is the worst , they never respect anyone , they treats students like shit , even when there is 20min remaining to close the counter they close early and say visit Tommorow now.

Placement Experience:

After third year college give students placements in companies like Accenture Deloitte etc , placement are good but they way kelkar is moulding students is worst... Students can apply for internship from 2nd yr . Percentage of students getting placement could be around 47%. As most of students want to percieve higher education. My plans after degree is to percieve MBA

Student activities are really great in college various type of activities and events which lead to fun and joy but also helps students understand management
Air conditioned labs are available in IT courses.
Extra curricular activites are boosted here sports activites are all there and sports facility helps you enhance your abilities

Dislikes

Course timing for science courses with practicals it is around 5-6 hours maybe more depending on faculty. Students within such courses face many problems such as not much involvement in extra curricular courses and activities.
Faculty of bsc it is good but very rude. Not all but some Members are always rude and angry need to adjust expression and behavior with students
There should more college placements. College placements have been dropping and the current college placements are not great.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement in TY after semVI. Companies such as TCS come for campus placement. 2-5 or more students get offered every year depends on the talent of student. Highest package within 5-10 years is of 6LPA. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS OF 3 LPA AROUND. LESS THAN 10% student get placed only the best ones gets placement in bsc it course. You may get web developer or testing roles depeding on your speciallity.

The main college fest is great to expand your network if you are a part of it.
The infrastructure is great with spacious classrooms to accommodate maximum students
There are multiple labs for different fields and courses with all the required equipments available

Dislikes

There is setback in fests and events committees as there is politics among the students involved.
There is a minor issue in infrastructure as some of the classrooms and benches are damaged
The ground is not big enough for outdoor sports like football.

I don't know much about the placements. But there is a placement cell in the college. I've heard from the seniors that only the science and I.T. related degrees for eg. B.Tech get good placements and good companies come to offer jobs only to these degrees and not the other.

Friendly students, not like other institutes where students judge each eachother. everybody is busy at their work. no one cares about any other being
well educated teaching staff, every teacher is qualified and has good knowledge regarding his or her subject of teaching
excellent events and fests, college events are all over the year

Dislikes

infrastructure of the college are pretty old, some changes would be great

this course helps me to gain knowledge regarding business and entrepreneurship. i would suggest taking short lectures instead of 1hr ones. because the attention span of students is very less. i think the difficulty level is reasonable, passing it is easy

College is good infrastructure and campus is also good and great but it has internship and placement issue that’s it.

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is good as it has atleast 2 libraries at each floor.
Canteen is also available which has packed and unpacked food both and non alcoholic beverages are also available.
Events and fest are well organised from time to time.

Dislikes

The unpacked food of canteen smells weird and it tastes tacky.
Washrooms are not clean from time to time specially girls washrooms.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college but those companies usually don't choose students from Bcom so after the college other students continue their CA studies. And some do Law and others do mainly MBA. And for now I am preparing for government jobs.

Overall collge ambience is excellent there are lots of programmes held in collges a spearet committee is made to organize all evets in collge
All faculty is excellent and supportive they are very kind and very good at their respective subjects
The subjects were interesting which gave us a good chance to improve our communication skills and were in accordance with new education policy
