Eligibility for the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program at Kelkar Education Trust's V.G. Vaze College requires passing Class 12. Applicants need a minimum of 60% marks in their standard 12th to qualify. Prospective students should first register online through the Mumbai University portal and then complete the college's application form on their official website. The admission process is largely electronic, ensuring a hassle-free experience, with the application dates and fees available on the college website.
There is no entrance exam, and the program is structured over six semesters, with exams conducted internally as the college holds autonomous status. Cut-offs can vary, with a general target around 90% for some applicants, while lower cut-offs may apply for certain categories. To apply for specialized courses like banking and insurance, a minimum of 50% in the 12th boards is necessary. The college releases a merit list which determines admission, and students can expect to visit the college a few times for document verification.
As there is no mention of direct or management quota admissions, the focus remains on merit-based selection.
