About BN Bandodkar College of Science
BN Bandodkar College of Science, earlier a part of Vidya Prasarak Mandal’s College, came to be known as a separate institute in 1975 in Thane. The college is the only Single Faculty of Science College affiliated to the University of Mumbai offering multiple specializations in B.Sc, M.Sc, Ph.D, Certification and Diploma programs. Admissions to all courses are merit based. The students with 50% aggregate marks in the previous qualifying examination are eligible to apply for the admission. To apply for the admission process, applicants must visit the official website and fill up the application form and upload the required documents.

BN Bandodkar College of Science Admission
Admissions to all courses are made on a merit basis. They are generally conducted according to University of Mumbai admission procedures. Admissions are accepted both online and offline.
Online Application links will be set up on the website. Applicants need to click on the link and then fill in the form as required. There is also an application helpdesk for all students during May vacation till the admission process ends. Subject wise Flex boards and Flyers are also displayed throughout the year.
For diploma courses the norms laid down by VPM College are to be followed.
BN Bandodkar College of Science Placement
The college conducted on-campus and off-campus placement drives. A total of 291 students participated in the on-campus drive. 66 students out of this received placements. The companies that participated in this drive included:

The admission process is merit based. The admission is online and given on the basis of merit. The cut offs are usually high for aided and unaided courses. All the details regarding same can be availed on college portal notices.

In order To be Eligible For BSC-CS in this college one has to pass HSC with at least 50%. A Student can find the application form on the official website of B.N.Bandodkar College, there is no such application fee for applying to this college. There must be a bit of improvement in the Admission Online Portal, Instructions should be displayed on the home page.

The admission process is quite manageable. The supportive staff makes it more comfortable, Having good space also helps while also they provide prior notifications for any related admissions to help guide students.

The eligibility of course is 12th. The application for the course by online through the college website. The college is so good and has very good teaching staff in the college they are so supportive they are so helpful.

The admission process was online. We have to fill two forms online only. The first form we have to fill in the Mumbai university website and the other form we have to fill is from a particular college website. Then we took the printout of the 2 forms and submitted them to the college and Rs.100 was charged for the prospectus of College. My BSc course admission was only based on the 12th percentage and no exam was taken by the college. Then if our name comes in the merit list we have to pay the fees within 2 days and submit our all documents within 2 days of timespan or else the seat will not be given.

It is near to my home and it has the best quality education. Admission is a partial online minimum of 75 percent is required to take admission. And it will take approximately 1 month to complete admission. It has good teachers which will give the best education and the campus is too large.

The college is good for teaching there is all highly educated teacher. All types of activities are done in college. If anyone is talented in any field college give the opportunity to get a success ahead. There are many games played in college like cricket, football, volleyball, table tennis, and many more. The ground in the college is very large. We can play anything in that ground. Teachers are very helpful. If we need anything teachers are helping. Canting is also good. There is much food available in the canteen. Canteen is very hygienic. There are NCC camp is also arranged in college. Daily NCC teacher take practices of each student. Every year two guys go for 15 August in New Delhi. There are many people how gone through and get success ahead.

There are so many good things in the college the coaching staff is the best and the premises is also very big we can enjoy best food in canteen and best study in library The best college in Mumbai The educational compared to others is best
Course Curriculum Overview:
Biotechnology is diversed field it has lots of research work. Therefore college has good labs and syllabus but research option in biotechnology department is very low. There is no industrial training for biotech department. Faculties are pretty good.

The fee for the BSc in IT is mentioned below:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 to get admisison intot he BSc in computer science course. The fee for the BSc cs course is INR 35000 per year at the BN Bandodkar College of Science, Thane.

The updated fee structure of B.Sc. Biotechnology has not been shared yet now. According to the previous fee structure, the total fee of the course is INR 30,870.
