I chose this course because I feel like I can do this whole management thing. Also, there are 2 sections each of 60 students so every student gets enough attention from the faculty. I can't say anything about the faculty..well I mean some of them are par excellent in their job. some of them are just average they do help out in extra curriculum activities and some of them even motivate us to take part in fests.
Around 55% students got placement in this college. The highest package was Rs 3.5 LPA and average was Rs 2.5 LPA. Some of the recurring organisations like - KPMG, EY, Hindustan Times, Deloitte etc are responsible for the overall development of the students.
Jai Hind College is a reputed institute that offers undergraduate Management programme. Summer Internships, Industrial visits, case study cohort, Entrepreneurship Cell & Skill hub, Interdisciplinary Projects etc are the special features of the BMS course.
Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter the final year of college. BMS usually has good placements for final-year students. Companies such as Zomato, Ernst & Young, Deutsche Bank, Schbang, etc had come for placements in 2021.
The college after autoNo,my has gained respect as it's become very managed. The classrooms to the curriculum everything is top level. If I have to score this college on the scale of 10, I'll give it 10/10.
Best in south Mumbai, like the kind of exposure you get in very diffrent. Crowd is also very good and connections you make are very diffrent. It's very useful for outstation students. Demerits are none but timing issues are common like scheduling lectures and all is a problem because visiting faculties find it difficult sometimes to make it to college. But apart from that everything is fine.
It's a good college overall which attracts a good crowd from all the backgrounds be it arts, science, or commerce. But cutoff may vary a lil bit for different streams. Placements are average. Faculty is good, helpful and friendly. Attendance is 70% compulsory. College has gained academy autonomy from the Mumbai University thus they set their own papers and get them checked within the college.
I feel that Jai Hind is one chilled out college which offers a lot of opportunities to students. The college isn't strict about attendance or dressing rules which make it an attractive college for a certain section of students but it's also a place filled with budding entrepreneurs and students trying to leave a mark in this world.
