The course for which I have opted is amazing as it provides knowledge about things that are still unknown or in progress.
You get a good amount through internships, like around 10-15k per month, and a package of 3-5 lakh per year.

Dislikes

The fees were minimal, and the college is not providing any scholarships for now, but they provide fee concessions to some categories of students.

Jai hind was always a dream college for me since so many years. There are so many good things about jai hind college as it is considered as one of the prestigious college in Mumbai. The professor are really good and hold great degrees.

Dislikes

To be precise been in such a prestigious college I feel that washroom need to be cleaned and this is only because of the students that the washrooms are not clean few times

For me I choose bachelor of commerce from jai hind college because the difficulty level of the course lower as compared to other course and was also convenient for me as alternatively I'm also pursuing CA course which in itself makes studies difficult for me

Overall faculty of the psychology course is nice

As the college is morning college it starts from aroun 7.30 you usually get home by 12.30 or 1 pm max, so you get your whole day free to do other stuff such as internships, or going out or any other work one may prefer.

BSc IT in Jai Hind College - How does it look like ?

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in Semester 5 ie Third Year with companies like Deloitte , Wipro , EY , Schbang , DEShaw and other smaller companies coming to campus during our batch in 2022 . Not sure of the status now The placements are a lot better compared to IT of other colleges as almost 70% of our batch got placed . The average package ranges around 3.2 LPA while the highest offered by a company was 12 LPA but however , no student was able to crack the interview for the same.

Teaching Staff - Teaching staff and professors were top tier and very kind to my doubts.
Education System - Education system was also good, from a guy who's coming from Rajasthan, it was fascinating to study in Mumbai.

Dislikes

Campus Size - Campus size was a bit small, it could've been a little bit bigger.
Document Process Not Smooth - Physical verification of documents was not smooth at all, and we students had to waste a lot of time of ours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had an immense passion for the BBI course and wanted to pursue that since 11th from the very prestigious JAI HIND COLLEGE, MUMBAI. The faculty is highly qualified and almost everyone is a Ph.D. holder the teaching method was also very modern and hi-tech. The student Ratio was 7:3 where 7 is the female gender and 3 is the male gender. Regular tests were conducted and the difficulty was easy to medium. Term exams were also in a regulated manner.

Faculty is here is highly knowledgeable and the very well qualified .there teaching tachniques are very good .there is 2 semester each year.the paper of medium level.marks are divided 40-60 .there is 60 marks theroy paper at the end of each semester and 40 marks divided into 20 marks for assignment and other is MCQ test

Crowd of Jai Hind College is the best.
Gymkhana is Awesome they have every kind of stuff.

Dislikes

HOD of IT department because he wasn't supportive in my sports.
HOD don't support what you are passionate about he just think of academics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been fond of computers since I was a kid so I chose this course. the faculty department's qualifications are well they have all done Computer science courses in their individual field some of them are at professor level according to my experience in the college I guess the faculty teaches well but the thing is they are not cooperative they are an arrogant creature who think like they are a dictator. The exam was in the month of Aug, Dec, Feb, and April.

The experience that the teachers have. All the teachers are very well educated and knowledgeable
The cafeteria has really good food and options. There are seperate cafeteria for Veg and Non veg food.

Dislikes

There is a little less involvement of the teachers in the assignment and projects.
The campus does not has a ground, just the two buildings

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it was of my interest and it is a really Emerging field all over the world. The faculty of Jai Hind College for psychology is excellent and very experienced. There are two teachers who take the classes. The strength is about 150 students. The HOD was the Ex vice principal of the Humanities stream. The exams are divided into 40 and 60 marks, where the 40 is divided into 20-20, 20 for Assignments and project the other 20 for an online MCQ test. There are two semesters each with a 60-mark written offline paper.

I liked the college campus with great infrastructure.
I liked my course because I got to know about many CA students and the most important the placements given by the college are excellent.

Dislikes

I disliked my course timing because they were early in the morning.
I disliked the college gaurds who are very rude.

Placement Experience:

Second-year students start getting internships and third-year students get placements. Every year the big 4 companies visit the college and hire around 40 students. The highest package was 8LPA by KPMG and the average package was 4LPA by other companies. 60% of students get placements. I will start my MBA after my graduation.

because b com had few subjects which I liked and had an interest in. there are approximately 120 students per class with 4 faculty members for each course. the teaching method was online interactive and fun they used AI for unit or viva exams. exams were easy if you study.
