Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum was good. The syllabus were verified and updated every year with respect to emerging future and scope of botany field. Professor had really nice technique of teaching. It would have been nice if internships were included in the curriculum

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid approximately 7500 - 8000 Rs per year for 3 tera course.I am not aware of any scholarship facilities at the college for needy students. College have Sindhi minority in that case I guess there is preference for admission

Campus Life

3

Library has variety of books in abundance. All last year's paper are also available at the library Campus is filled with extracurricular activities of many cells and commetties.Nss, NCC are there at college. SDU social and dramatic union of JHC is one of the activity oriented club.

Admission

When I passed 12th Std I was willing to do BSc in microbiology and hence I listed the best microbiology colleges in Mumbai and then after not getting the desired subject in merit list 1 and I was qualified for microbiology for this college

Faculty

4

In my department which is botany there was faculty of 5 female professors All of them were really knowledgeable and supportive throughout the course. Examination system was semester wise with internal of continuous Assessment CA 1 and 2 exam of consisting MCQ exam and extracurricular based evaluation including respectively.

Night Life

3

One of the most famous hangout place nearby is Marine drive only which is just 5 mins away from college. Also there are good options nearby such as Asiatic library, Rustom and k plus naturals for icecream, nykaa store for cosmetic Shopping

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I\n Chose this course in specific this college.Because first of all , it was afforrable as compared to others institutes.I can say that we weren't getting any experience which can prepare us for the real world experience like we were made to sit in workshops which was not at all connected to our curriculum. And then later on, when we said we don't want to attend it.We were given lame excuses like this will help you. And we will give you certificates for this. And later on , we were given nothing. Course needs a lot of improvement.I guess because they doesn't favor student feedbacks. The exam are typically in june and depends upon ycmou college dosent have any role to it and its not that difficult with basic knowledge you can score well.

I already mentioned library should have more updated books and classroom structure should be more updated. Faculty sir good enough for preparing us for real world applications through their simple learning method. Weekly and monthly practical exams are conducted by University for preparing of final examination.

The teaching method is excellent for the teachers to use real-life examples and exciting visuals while teaching.
