Course Curriculum Overview

5

Its tip top. And in line with the current market trends. Yes some things should be updated like studying the latest version of windows 2022 instead of windows 2015. College hours can have a bit relaxation as those who travel daily for 2 hours get tired by the time they reach home

Internships Opportunities

5

We have top tier companies like Deloitte, TCS, HDFC to name a few. They have an active interest in Jai Hind College students and make sure to get our students at any cost. Our best projects and researches also reach the National Research Conference of India.

Placement Experience

4

Students aate eligible for campus placements sem 5 onwards. The faculty members always push for Tier 1 companies so that us students get the best possible work environment and experience. And since college is so reputed, every year the same companies keep coming back for more.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the fees is increasing annually. From 32000 in FY to 38500 in TY. Don't as such remember all these, tuition fees, admission fees. But it amounted to some 1000s. My friends in BSc physics, BSc Maths comparatively had very minimal fees with 6000 something as their TY fees. There are many scholarships available for students in college. One of them is Sumitomo

Campus Life

5

Its an all-round experience. College caters to all demands, be it social, cultural, academic, spiritual and even patriotic. We have an annual athletic meet, where the whole college participates in various sports across 2 weeks finally culminating in the top 8 running the relay race. We strive for equality amongst all and girls are motivated to reach top positions like chairman of the Gymkhana, Secretary of Student Council. NSS is a silent contribution to the college's diverse culture. NCC embodies our name - Jai Hind, Nation comes first. And since our teachers are so supportive, each and every event of Jai Hind college is always greeted with huge numbers.

Admission

Firstly, location. South Bombay. Heart of the city. South Bombay as so much ancient history that its always refreshing to walk down those streets. Secondly, Jai Hind is a very reputed college, world-wide. And this reflects in their approach towards learning and teaching. Thirdly, Jai Hind provides a very cohesive environment to grow and learn together, for people from all walks of life. This creates a very amiable atmosphere for learning and growing.

Faculty

5

My faculty members are very professional and stress more on learning and understanding than on rote learning. They see to it that we get one on one interaction and solve all our doubts. The key to them being so good is that they put in their 100% and are so dedicated towards teaching and giving us the right direction.

Interview Experience

5

I was quite confident that I'd get in to Jai Hind, so as such I didn't prepare a script. I just talked from my heart that why I wanted this college, what attracted me the most about it - the growing culture where we take everyone together with us.

Night Life

5

It being the heart of the city, nightlife in and around college is always thriving and energetic. Mumbai wakes up after 7 pm, everyone becomes active, you see multi colour lights. The best places to hangout in college are of course our beloved canteen, the library if you want some quiet and peace. The basement to kick back and chill. The steps on 4th and 5th floor to make new friends ????

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I\n Chose this course in specific this college.Because first of all , it was afforrable as compared to others institutes.I can say that we weren't getting any experience which can prepare us for the real world experience like we were made to sit in workshops which was not at all connected to our curriculum. And then later on, when we said we don't want to attend it.We were given lame excuses like this will help you. And we will give you certificates for this. And later on , we were given nothing. Course needs a lot of improvement.I guess because they doesn't favor student feedbacks. The exam are typically in june and depends upon ycmou college dosent have any role to it and its not that difficult with basic knowledge you can score well.

The course provides an exceptional knowledge of the fundamentals of physics and its application in various fields. The course is designed to prepare the students well. The teaching method is excellent for the teachers to use real-life examples and exciting visuals while teaching. However, the course can be improved by adding some modern physics fields such as astrophysics and quantum mechanics to the curriculum.
