Remarks

Of course nothing is perfect and as a student I had a lot of complaints. But looking back, they all contributed to who I am today and I think I really love the person I’ve become and college played all the part. So no, it’s good as it is. Rest, things change for good as and when time asks for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

BMM is a wonderful course if you plan to pursue media or are even trying to find your feet in the industry. JH recently became autonomous so they also changed their curriculum and made it more practical oriented and reduced the burden of theory exams but designed it in a way that every student makes 2 assignments each subject and gets graded accordingly

Placement Experience

3.5

Our HOD gives personal recommendations if she finds you potential, but other than that, you can seek jobs from faculties or online.

College Events

5

Tons of them. There’s the fest hosted by JH, Detour. Other than that, they’re very active in the fests by other colleges like cutting chai, Polaris, etc. There’s a lot of motivation and everybody is encouraged to take part as much as they can in all these fests

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very affordable as it’s still affiliated with MU, they follow the government issued fee. We paid 20,000 annually for a duration of 3 years. All other costs like lifestyle, equipment, credit courses, are to be borne separately. Minor fee is charged for re-exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were no scholarships offered. There are however special seats reserved for Kashmiris, and other minorities.

Campus Life

It’s very evenly divided, equal representation to everybody. There are no restrictions on dress code or anybody else telling you on how to behave. Every child is expected to behave like an adult and take their own responsibility and I think that’s really nice and encouraging.

Alumni/Alumna

We’re still in our last year of graduation but from what I’ve gathered from talking to my seniors is they’re all too kind and in love with what they do and are very keen on helping juniors find out their passion and guide them along

Admission

So there were two portals, one the official MU website where you choose the college and course, and print those forms. Second, you fill an entrance form on the college’s website which in this case was Jai Hind’s website and print those forms. Later when dates are released, you submit both the forms and all the other necessary documents asked by your course. Documents required for BMM were 2 copies each of both the forms, photostat of marksheets of 10th and 12th, photocopy of transfer and migration certificate from the school.

Faculty

4.5

They’re all too kind and understanding. There’s more of a relationship built on trust than fear. Everybody knows their students by their names, and talk to them as if we’re of their own. There’s full transparency, they discuss and understand what we’re interested in learning and proceed accordingly.

Placement Experience:

After taking admission in the college, the placement drive is started for the student immediately from the second semester. All the information about which is sent to the class wise group and if the student is eligible, you can apply immediately after seeing your experience. The experience is very beautiful. You learn new things. You also understand how the interview round is conducted and what the eligibility is. Most of the companies that come to the college include renowned companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Deollite, etc., which hire students. The biggest package of Rs 7 crore per NM has been given so far from Sandeep University in the entire Nashik district.Which is a matter of great pride. Sandeep University is the only college where the largest job fair seminar in Maharashtra is attended. In which students from all over Maharashtra come and give live interviews to companies that have come to the college, give their region and announce hiring on the spot. Therefore, this college provides the greatest opportunity for students to meet all the renowned companies under one roof in one place. During the interview, the student's critical thinking skills and his/her inclination are shown rather than CGP and marks to determine whether he/she is eligible or not. In my experience, the college provides such strong education that at least four students are placed in companies every week. I am currently completing my graduation and will be starting my career immediately after that.
