I chose the course BMM as I was always interested in the media field. I was always happy behind the camera and in front of the camera. We had a good amount of in-house faculty as well as visiting faculty. There were different teachers for all different subjects teaching 150 students at one time. The teaching faculty in the college was highly qualified with degrees like PHD and were highly experienced as well. We had six semesters in 3 years and 2 exams per year. The papers used to be tough but due to amazing teachers, we used to pass the exams easily!
I choose this course because it has a total of 36 new subjects to learn from. All subjects were related to arts and media which interested me the most. The faculty was highly experienced and qualified. We had two semesters per year and a total of 6 in the duration of 3 years.
I am in BMM second year. The course is just fine. I mean it's fun for sure. You make ads, movies, short films, scripts etc. you make contacts in your 3 year course. I chose this course only because it's fun. There are 2 sections in every year- A and B with 70 students in every section. The faculty is amazing. Every professor is related to the respective industry they teach about. Every day there are 2 classes so the professors attend to every student equally. And the alumni? Kiara Advani, Varun Thakur, I mean you name it. Fortunately or unfortunately I don't know, I didn't give my final exams offline. The first year was cancelled, and the second year final exams are yet to happen online.
Yes, It is really good. My college is an autonomous college so the syllabus is up to date and we get lots of interesting projects. The college make sure that we move forward with the world. It is preparing us in the best way for our future field.
The course is always updated. The faculty teaches us exactly what we need to know about the workings and functioning of mass media. We are provided with enough exposure. We have done a lot of practical work such as ad making, short film making, and learnt a lot of new things such as adobe premier pro, photoshop etc.
Well structured and up to date syllabus. Experienced faculty. I believe that guest lectures and exposure to real time situations with practical projects and media festivals are a great learning experience.
The college is autonomous and I am pretty satisfied with the syllabus Great exposureGreat practical experience through projectsAmazing ex HOD for BMM, Dr VaralakshmiExample based teaching, on field projects
Good knowledge, interactive projects, you get to learn a lot in this course about different subjects and also to make new friend, meet new people f on new colleges, attend fests, basically sums up your entire college life
Very affordable as it‰Ûªs still affiliated with MU, they follow the government issued fee. We paid 20,000 annually for a duration of 3 years. All other costs like lifestyle, equipment, credit courses, are to be borne separately. Minor fee is charged for re-exams.
Jai hind has become autonomous, i.e. on your final certificate the Mumbai University as well the college names are mentioned. This gives you an edge over other students applying for jobs from colleges under the Mumbai University. The syllabus and curriculum are well updated and extra notes are also given. The faculty is good and helpful.
