Remarks
Like the coin has two sides it has certain positives and negatives but overall it's one hell of a place to be.
Entrance Preview
Because I heard that the college is really chilled out. Also apart from academics, I was looking forward to some extracurricular activities and according to the sources Jai hind is best known for this and hence I went for this college and now being a part of it is really amazing.
Course Curriculum Overview
I think it's really good since the students are invited for all the streams for a management programme they start with the basic things that are taught to a commerce student in the 11th standard so that they can cope up. Overall it's a really great course curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
The college has a placement cell. I am not very sure whether it provides an internship or not but I guess they do.
Placement Experience
At the time of orientation, we saw several companies that are really no less than MNC's as our placement opportunities and I believe it's a great chance to grab it and live with the best you got by putting extra hard work now. The opportunities are plenty.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very much reasonable and up to the mark. It's really less even if compared to the school with such good facilities. You'll get air-conditioned rooms, a big auditorium, 2 spacious lifts and everything you wait for. The campus is amazing and what not.
Fees and Financial Aid
I heard of Sumitomo scholarship that is available for limited colleges Jai hind being one of them and is academically based.
Campus Life
I can talk about this all day long. If you're looking for events, Jai hind it is. You'll get to join so many clubs SDU, Gymkhana, RCJC and many more according to your course and the events are plenty. You just need to be active enough to know and participate in it. The campus atmosphere is chilled out irrespective of any gender discrimination.
Hostel Facilities
Well, the college does not provide hostel facilities but that's not much to worry about. It's definitely a drawback but there are many messes available around to hang out with your friends and the college canteen. The food is to die for. What else do you need?
Alumni/Alumna
The most surprising thing is often people are scared of ragging from their seniors but here the seniors are damn helpful and approachable.
Exam Structure
This is the first year and my first semester so I'm not pretty much sure how it goes but we have been allowed 3 classes wherein half students of one course and half of other will sit together in order to check that the exam goes on in a fair and proper manner.
Admission
Firstly you need to fill in the forms online. The next step is to submit the documents. Forms need to be filled through the MU website and then the college website. After the documents are verified and collected wait for the merit lost and once your name appears, you're in the society.
Faculty
The faculty is pretty amazing, apart from the 1-2 teacher that is but obvious none of them likes but yes it's amazing. External faculties are hired which is nothing other than best served in a plate. The teaching pattern, involvement everything is up to mark.
