Remarks

The college after autoNo,my has gained respect as it's become very managed. The classrooms to the curriculum everything is top level. If I have to score this college on the scale of 10, I'll give it 10/10.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum of this college and this department is the best in town. We get to experience real life thourough the assignments assigned to us. The curriculum is up to date. The exam structure is very application based which helps us to understand the terms rather than just learning for the exam. The pattern paper for the exam is much better too. Our subjects are groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge. Campus placements are very much in favour to the students because of the training we've received. We've had Rural Market Visits to understand the subject Rural marketing.

Placement Experience

4

Companies like Google, Deloitte, Reliance Mutual Funds come to the college for placements in BMS. Tentative number of students placed are 40%. Yes, we do get a special program to get trained for the Placement season.

College Events

4

We have management festival called Talaash celebrated every year in college which is a 20 year old legacy. Currently it is only famous in Mumbai but has plans on going national. It's a mixture of management and cultural events. As it is organised by students themselves it gives a lot of exposure to them. One more event is E-cell and skill hub which is famous in calling entrepreneurs. It's an entrepreneurial event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The programme fee in respect of what they're giving to the students is very less. It's only 20, 000 for the first year which reduces in the next year. The mode of payment accepted is DD. No, additional fees are required to be paid. Yes, the college provides a fee receipt which explains the fee-breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is provided to some students but as I haven't availed it I do not have much information about it.

Campus Life

5

The college crowd that Jai Hind has is of students from well reputed families living in South Bombay mainly. The Gender ratio is 1:1 with No, descrimination. There are a lot of workshops available in this course which help us to grow. Jai Hind as a whole is very broad minded college and has accepted students in all forms.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No, I'm a student who is from Mumbai so I haven't opted for Hostels. But the college does suggest some hostels as they themselves do not have any provision for the students to stay. Many students in Hai hind are outstation students which chooses to stay in PG.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of JAI HIND COLLEGE BMS DEPARTMENT is very good as it's maintained very well. The alumni is very helpful as they come back to the college to give the students insight on what they've achieved. A few of the alumni have come back to the college to become guest lecturers too.

Admission

I got admission in the college thourough Merit list (sindhi quota). BMS of Jai Hind College is a very rigorous course and has earned a lot of reputation after autoNo,my. Soon as one has received the admission thourough the merit list there is a small interview taken by the Head of Department. It's very tough to get into this department of this college because the percentage required is very high.

Faculty

4.5

The tentative number of lecturers are 8 in case for SYBMS. The average age of the professors is 30 and mostly industry experts come to teach us as guest lecturers. These professors as they're themselves working in the industry give us real life examples and projects which help us understand different industry situations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.
