I would say that the fees is very high. We are paying more than 20 Lakhs and the ROI is not upto the mark. The average placement package is somewhere between 12.5 to 13 lakhs, which has dipped this year considering the global recession.

At KJ Somaiya Institute of Management and Research (SIMSR), tuition fee increases occur periodically, typically with each academic year. The complete cost of education includes tuition, service fees, and other compulsory charges, varying by program. SIMSR offers scholarships and financial aid, including the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship and the Somaiya Scholarship Program, with varying amounts based on criteria such as academic performance and financial need. While I'm not well-versed in the details of scholarship programs, I can provide clarity on the structure of college and hostel fees. Over the two-year duration of the program, the college fees amount to 20 lakhs, evenly divided across semesters. Hostel availability hinges on prompt booking, with the girls' hostel being particularly commendable for its swift resolution of any issues. However, securing accommodation can be challenging for CMAT-admitted students due to high demand.

As the fee is 10 lakhs, we are provided with excellent infrastructure, various teaching tools, access to databases and experienced faculties. As for the students who are facing financial issues there is facility of fee wavier. The students get upto 20 to 80 percent fee wavier if required. In campus many times forms are circulated regarding various scholarships to aware students. College also helps with getting education loan if required. Though there are no campus employment but still students are given opportunities to present their ideas to get funds.

1st-year fees is approx 9 lakh and 2nd year is 11 lakh approx. and hostel fees are 190000 adding mess fees is 60000. Yes, it's a bit expensive but the environment which the college provides is amazing this huge campus in Mumbai with variety of activities that students can join and enjoy.

As a B-School, KJ Somaiya has certain factors which are advantageous, such as location, ROI, alumni base. Since Mumbai is the corporate hub of India, the college easily attracts many companies. SIMSR has a huge alumni base with people working at imminent positions in the corporate world.
However, it doesn’t come under the top B-Schools in India. SIMSR brand doesn’t have much recognition. Although it attracts many companies, the placement average isn’t at the same level as top B-Schools. KJ Somaiya placements 2022 had an average CTC of INR 10.95 LPA.
KJ Somaiya is definitely a better option of the two. My cousin is a KJ Somaiya alumni and he claims the college to be one of the best in the country
Judging from these points one can easily say that KJ Somaiya is a better option than IMT Ghaziabad. Also if you have an excellent resume and a strong profile you can also go for IIMs or other top B Schools.
krunalI don’t think judging a college solely on the basis of placements is justified. Yet I have tabulated the placement statistics below to give an overall comparison.
