Course Curriculum Overview
The courses offered are relevant to current times and to add to the same there are certain mandatory audit courses for the development of essential personality building skills. The methodology used to teach the courses are also really logical and methodical.
Internships Opportunities
They get various companies onboard that come to campus with diverse roles, with something for everyone. The placement cell halos students find their best fit companies and roles, so as to find more clarity and even experience in the selected fields.
Placement Experience
Semester 3 onwards students become eligible for final placements. The placements offered are varied and help and student find their best fit company along with a suitable role and CTC. The college also helps with development of skills that students need to be job ready.

Campus Life
Somaiya has a wide variety of clubs and committees on campus and a student is allowed to choose one club and one committee to be a part of. Each club and committee follows proper structure and holds numerous events through the year, providing students with the opportunity to develop team work and leadership skills. Somaiya has a very bustling campus with something going on all the time.
Admission
I chose KJ Somaiya cause of the opportunities of holistic development, included but not limited to sports and live projects. The faculty and the campus are also great add ons. Somaiya has a huge campus almost in the heart of the city.
Faculty
The faculties are easily approachable and highly approchable. It is semester system so two sets of exams per year in total four sets of end term exams and mid term assessments are ongoing throughout the semesters.
Interview Experience
Their was a written assessment test followed by a group discussion the topics for which were based on recent and relevant topics, which was followed by a personal interview round. These rounds were for all students who were selected after the application screening round.
Night Life
Along with the amazing sports infrastructure that Somaiya houses. The hostel also has a gym, their is a canteen which serves vegetarian and even Jain food along with a mess as well. The mess serves four meals a day, breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. All meals have a Jain option also. The hostel last time is 11 pm after which formalities are required from the students to end. Their are numerous cafés in the nearby vicinity of the campus.
