Likes
- emphasis on sports is given. Compulsory sports credit subject is there. Every sport is there including squash and TT and trails happens for this courses to join the team.
- committees and clubs are also there for students to join..this leads to overall growth along with academics
- intership opportunities are plenty for students of 1st year of MBA
Dislikes
- gender ratio is not good in any of the class
- hostels are not at par with the fees they take.
Course Curriculum Overview
Assignments are almost every week. Helps you to get better understanding of the subjects and help to prepare for the exams. It's inclination towards tolhe sports and how faculties treat their students made me chose yhis college.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of companies come here with roles aligning to interset of every students. They have selection criteria based on specialization of the students so the internship serves fruitful for the students and helps them during the final placements
Placement Experience
during 3rd semester students ar eligible for the campus placements. There are a lot of companies visiting this college for final placements. Average placement offered is around 12 Lakhs and highest is around 24 Lakhs. Almost 100% of the students are placed
Fees and Financial Aid
year-wise I will be paying around 1250000 inr. caution fees is around 30,000inr. I have no idea about the charges during the course completion as per the category. Merit based scholarships are available upto 100% fees wave. Also sports based scholarships is available.
Campus Life
annual festival here is Milange. it is held for around a week where every committee and club is involved. Library is very vast here. every books are available. also online library facility is provided along with free access to various tools online which are generally paid. Teams for each and every sport is here which competes within university as well as outside the university.
Hostel Facilities
differnt meal is provided day throughout the week but the taste is not good. rooms in the hostel are decent but not worth the fees. Only fan is provided in the name of facilities along with lights and table and chair.
Admission
applied for XIMb and chose not to join it because of its toxic hostel life. It's infamous for the bullying and ragging stories of the hostel.. Hostel life here in KJSIM is quite healthy and chill. Everyone is inclusive and from different culture. Also the city og mumbai was the major factor for joining this college. Admission process consisted of clearing the cut off set by the college and after that WAT and Group discussion and Personal interview. Based on cumulative score of this we are selected
Faculty
the faculty to student ratio is decent. the faculties inculcate healthy relationship with their students. Students can ask the doubt after class too within the office timings, after that too but gia SRs. Here exams are divided into internal and external. internals are if 50 marks and mostly consists of assignments, projects and quizes while external is of 50 marks too but are considered as end semester.
Interview Experience
topic of GD was "scope of AI in india". Interview was quite long and consisted of various questions ranging from hygiene to HR questions to technical questions. questions were ranging from GK about the geography and also history of India followed by technical questions related to my under graduation
