Placements were decent this year. We had an average of around 13-14 Lakhs per annum which seems to be considerable increase from the last year. 650 students out of 700 are placed till now. And, the rest 50 will also get placed by the time year ends.
Placements starts from the second year and the companies start coming from the month of September itself. All big companies including Big 4 come for FInance and other FMCG companies come for MArketing roles. The highest Package is 21,00,000 by some caompanies and the average CC is around 12,00,000. he college focuses on placements and makes sure everyone gets placed at the end of the day unless and until the student wants to opt out and start searching for companies outside(Not Recomended).

Placements are above average. The average package was Rs. 1250000. The entire batch of 650 gets placed in the end. However, many students have to goto sales roles if they are not palced in the beginning, even if they have a finance major. Placement Committee here is infamous for being opaque and dishonest with the students.

The placement scenario for K J Somaiya is pretty good. Big MNCs visit the campus but the probability of the students being selected or rejected depends on the student’s knowledge as well as their skill set.
The environment of K J Somaiya is very competitive. Students put in their best and work extremely hard to learn new things like programming languages, platforms, etc. It is because, by the end of the engineering degree, everybody lies at an equal level and is equally knowledgeable.

If you wish to grab the best package, you need to stand out and offer something unique from your end with regard to knowledge as well as personality. This stands true for all the other colleges as well, including IITs and VJTI.
If you are an exceptional student, you will be able to grab a good job irrespective of your college name. On the other hand, if you are an average student who is struggling to pass the subjects, then you will get an average package which would range around 25,000 per month or even worse, might not get a job at all.
The placement in D.J. Sanghvi is decent with salary packages ranging from 3-12 Lakhs per annum. The points below give a brief overview of the run-through of the entire placement scenario in D.J. Sanghvi.
Overall, the placements can be considered to be really good in D.J. Sanghvi and so, taking up a job with a decent salary before a Masters's degree is quite satisfying.

More than figures, the deciding factors for your choice of college should be your interest, strengths, area of specialization and most importantly why you are pursuing an MBA.
My friend is a pass out of SIMS. According to her, some features of SIMS are
All these features make SIMR one of the best B Schools of India.
Although all the B Schools you mentioned are very good, the one I would personally recommend is FORE. Some points that favor my recommendation are

FORE offers industry oriented certifications and International Immersion Program. So looking at the overall picture we can say all 4 colleges give each other tough competition but FORE takes the lead.

Other factors you can consider to decide which is better are
Location: Location-wise K J Somaya has an upper hand as it is in Mumbai, the financial hub of India. TAPMI is situated in Manipal, The student hub.
Campus: TAPMI has a much better and more beautiful campus and infrastructure than KJ Somaiya.
Accreditation: TAPMI has an upper hand as it has coveted AACSB accreditation and is among the first institutes in India to get so.
So make a choice not just on the basis of placements but also consider other important factors.
Pursuing MBA in any branch from any of the given colleges will give you the best curriculum and environment to grow and upskill yourself. The placement reports of these colleges are scaling recently. MBA in Finance is one among any of these that would be a great opportunity to grab and K J Somaiya will be a great option.
One of my cousins pursued Finance from K J Somaiya and he told me that good companies come for summer and final placements and offer a good package for finance people.

In terms of fees also K J Somaiya is better compared to other colleges given. You should not miss this chance to apply. Being located in the financial capital, it has an edge over others. TAPMI is good only for IT mainly and location plays a big advantage here.
The PGDM in Retail Management at KJ Somaiya is a relatively new course and not much can be said about its worth. But I have a friend who is currently pursuing RM at KJ Somaiya. According to him, it’s a good choice for someone with interest in this field to pursue this course because
All this makes the course worth trying.
Comparing the 2 B Schools that are KJ Somaiya and NIRMA, I would say both are equal in terms of placements, opportunities and exposure. The only factor you need to consider here is location. NIRMA is a good choice if your hometown is nearby. But if you want to enjoy your college life, explore and make memories, KJ Somaiya is the best. Located in Vidyavihar, a student-dominated area in Mumbai, it has an amazing campus with top-notch facilities.

So from the table, we can infer that placement-wise both colleges are almost the same. The difference lies in their location and the type of college life they offer.
There is no difference between the placement for PGDM or Postgraduate Diploma in Management course and MMS or Master of Management Studies course offered by KJ Somaiya. The entire batch for both the courses goes through the same placement process.
According to the placement drive 2019-2020 statistics of KJ Somaiya, almost 97% of students have received placements. Students have received job offers from Industrial sectors like Banking and Insurance sector, IT and ITES, Financial Services, Consulting, FMCG, and Manufacturing.
The top recruiting companies included Polaris UK, Accenture, PwC, and Target Inc. A total of 165 companies participated in the placement program and the number of new recruiters was 39. The highest and average CTC received by the students were 28.5 LPA and 10.08 LPA.
The difference is in the PGDM and MMS is mainly the admission process, duration, and the fees. The placement procedure is more or less similar.
Although all the courses offered at KJ Somaiya are equally good, its Marketing discipline is the most coveted one. Also there is no partiality during placement of students of various disciplines. Every student is allowed to sit for PPT and then for final interviews after selection.KJ Somaiya conducts a transparent and unbiased placement drive. Students from Finance, Marketing, Operations and HR get segregated during the initial selection process.
A number of companies visit the campus for placements. The placement committee makes sure that every year new companies also line up in addition to the many companies that visit every year. So I don’t think placements should be a concern for anyone getting into KJ Somaiya.
