BSc Microbiology at MES College Marampally

Likes

The college infrastructure is appreciable with all facilities.
The college library provides most refernce texts, articles and previous year question papers.
The laboratory is good with all instruments and ammenities.

Dislikes

The bioscience department is a bit strict compared to other departments.
More extra curricular activities needed to be incorporated.
Exam results take time to be announced by the university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course follows the syllabus prescribed by Mahatma Gandhi University for the affiliated colleges. The curriculum provides both conventional and modern methods of various study. I suggest to incorporate more of practical knowledge than theory as the course is more of a laboratory skilled work. The internal exams are conducted by the college and external semester exams are conducted by the univeristy.

Likes

The atmosphere and infrastructure so good I love it
The teachers in this psychology department is so friendly and help in studies
Their are cultural processes sports and other event in our college that are conducted beautifully

Dislikes

Their is so many restrictions in girls hostel
Their should be fans in the auditorium where culture programmes are held
More advanced laboratory is required in our college

It is a one of the best college for department of psychology.their is not only studying just from books their are lab for practical extra curriculum activities departments of psychology conduct national conferences.I suggest teaching method can be littile visual also with presentation etc

A detailed review of MES College, Marampally.

Likes

The faculty of my department was friendly and supportive
Food provided from the canteen was tasty and hygeinic
The location of the college is so beautiful that we really had a good scenery

Dislikes

Political parties are not allowed in the college
The locals around the college sometimes behave cheap
Industrial visits are sometimes not given or we have to ask ao much times

Placement Experience:

From 5th semesters onwards placement camps are held. Wipro, tcs are some of the companies that provide placement to students. The companies offer 10k-15k based on the performance of the student. After the course i completed masters in psychology in the same college. It was also similar to degree but fees was very less since the course was aided.

Canteen food is pretty good facilities like chemistry lab physics lab are awesome. college premises are always clean. plastic free environment.
Disciplinary action are taken it students faces any kind of raging and all .there is a great support for students

Dislikes

Teachers are not friendly some teachers are very friendly and treats like there own child

It's based on the course I opted for. it helps to build confidence in a social life. As we are going to be independent so confident people will only have bright futures in there lives. topics are relevant except maths and statistics which is useless in future I totally disagree with learning maths and statistics which is no use. Faculties are just pg qualified and they need more experience

Psychology is trending and more growing course ,thus it is more interesting , I liked from the beginning of 3rd sem, it became more interesting , it includes physiology and statistics is tough in nature but we can study .

My view of point

Likes

There are many things i like about mes college marampally. One of them are this college has a really good atmospheric ambience. The campus is surrounded with many trees and there is shelter everywhere. And the bulidings here is so good and beutifull.
There are many things i like about med college maramapally. Another one of them is this college provides really goof opportunity for students to get engaged or participate in extra curricular activities such as kalolsavam etc. There are many options.
The faculties here are so educated and well disciplined.

Dislikes

The collehe doesn't have a fully operational college auditorium.
Some departments are stricter and too controlling
The uniform pattern is so boring. Not nice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose microbiology. And i can rate upto 10 for the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. It is really helpful for the real world because bacterias are an important criteria in our daily life. Teaching methods are also good

Currently I am doing my postgraduate degree in Microbiology. I am really interested in learning about microbial world and also like to research more about their life. The faculty members of the college is highly qualified and most of them are having doctoral degrees. They are so supporting for the students.

MES MARAMPALLY THE HEAVEN

Likes

The faculty should be more friendly and show more love towards the students.
The college has some of the best place to sit back and enjoy with friends.

Dislikes

The college is far from the bus stop and the walk towards the college is exhausting.
The college should provide some help for the students who are coming daily through bus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course has a great scope in the coming future and can be useful for the next generation. There are enough faculty for every course and they provide excellent quality education. Every faculty is well educated and they have enough experience to educate every type of student. There are class tests every month and there is also an Internal exam just before the semester exam which helps you prepare for the semester exam. It will be as hard as the semester exam, so it will be difficult to pass the exam.
