Biotechnology have a great opportunity in the upcoming generations.In our college there are lots of practicals to improve our capabilities.Our teachers are really helpful for the laboratory practices.The exams are little bit are based on the previous year question paper

College provides internship opportunities at the final years and students have to find out the companies for the internship and apply for it.There were no more helps from colleges.They just give a base obout internship and projects

Fees and Financial Aid

They provide several scholarships but am not opting it.some deserving students are getting and that are really helpful to them to maintain their financial based problems.For bsc biotechnology it's self financing course our tuition 24000 per sem.Campus placement opportunities are less

Campus Life

Campus life was really good.they provide many programs, cultural events ,sports events to active the college students.Our library facilities is perfectly good ,they provide many books and journals for study purpose and reading.Sports have a physical education department to promote the sports activities .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was ok.but there are many things to buildup in hostel.According to college, college hostel have less facilities and infrastructure.And hostel rules are really not benefited for students.Hostel food were not good.PG is so affordable according to hostel

Admission

+2 is the eligibility of course.Our college came under the Mahatma Gandhi university kottayam.There is no entrance examinations at all.It is based on the central allotment mgug cap process.There are so many seats based on the community quota,management quota,sports quota,cultural quota etc.Exam difficulty level is medium not much tough.

Faculty

Our department were the best department.Teachers are well qualified and there are phd holders in our department.Now they are doing research along with their profession.Some teachers are really friendly and helpful for our studies and other activities

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you could get in the practicing period for placements if you dont have any supply you could get placements and college provides internship from 3 rd semester. Highest packs could be goven bank and maybe delloit idk how much it is but an avg pack of 75k per month will be there. If you got skills you would get in there.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro,accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this campus is very excellent. The collage has a placement assistance cell and every year 50 companies reaching this college for placement drive . Every year more than 80 students gets placed in large companies like EY , MRF and banks like federal bank , South Indian Bank etc. The federal bank offers a highest package of 16 LPA for pg students and 8 students got placed in 2024-25 academic year. Placement is opens for students studying final year. There is coaching for placement for free of coast for the students who registered for placements

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
