MES Academy of Medical Sciences was set up in the year 1964 and is located in Malappuram district of Kerala state. The institute comes under the Muslim educational society. It is a multidisciplinary network of colleges compressing a post graduate medical college and its teaching hospital with dental college, nursing college, school of nursing, and the institute of paramedical science. All these educational institutions enjoy minority status under the govt of India. Admission:
To study MBBS in any medical college in India, we have to clear NEET. The application form, fees, dates are all given in the website neet.nta.nic.in. There is reservation for SC, ST and in kerala OEC also have reservation. NEET is conducted once a year and it is a moderately difficult exam. The topics for the exam are from Physics, chemistry and biology NCERT textbooks of class 11 and 12. Once the results are out, we can apply in the All India admission process as well as the state admission process. We can give a list of colleges according to our priority and will be alloted to college based on our marks.

- We can hang out with friends at the weekends

- Night curfews in hostel upto 9pm.and punching system
- No programs at all in the college like freshers

Admission process is very simple. They guided us in a proper way.all the application forms are provided by them.they have facility of only accepting cheque and bank transfer. I got the seat in obc reservation

- The healthcare system is very well managed.

- In this college, the campus life is very poor.
- Encouragement for extra curricular activities is less
Admission:
I wrote NEET examination. And has 550 marks. To get admission in MES medical College in 2022 , cutoff was almost 530 marks. After giving our choices in the KUHS site (Kerala admission site) with all the necessary forms of caste and minority, I got admitted based on my marks. Here there are exams every now and then, but this helps in the better understanding of the concepts.

- Campus is nature friendly and there is gardens and parks.
Dislikes
- No cultural programmes and no arts day or sports day
- Timing for girls in the hostel is too early

My admission was based on the neet score. the cut-off was 600 above for getting into govt college. but my score was less than 600 so I opted for a private medical college after the allotment I got the seat

- Environment and surrounding of the campus is amazing
- library is also amazing with various books and calm and quiet

- Hostel facilities are less compared to the cost
- Bathroom facilities within the college is nit good

During admission process office staffs were helpful and calm. Was late because I reside in kottayam but the staffs were really calm and waited patiently even after the working hours were over. Got the admission through neet and opted for the college through Keam.

I enrolled after qualifying Neet-UG. After qualifying I enrolled for seat at my college through KEAM and got admission via self financing. We can submit application either via NTA or respective State eligibility entrance examination. Application form is available in their respective cites.

For admission in any college in India or Kerala, you have to pass the neet exam and have to get a good score to be eligible to get admission Yes there are reservations on the college for the minority

There are more positives than negatives. We can enjoy a family of 100 and we really become a family together thouroughout the time here. We are usually peaceful in the college. There is no ragging and only student friendly environment is provided.
