MES Arts and Science College, Calicut was established in 2005 and is running under the Muslim Educational Society. Over the years the college has improve itself in the academic areas with good placement record and high pass percentage at the University examinations. The college is affiliated to University of Calicut and approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). It offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in arts, science and commerce fields. The college has excellent support Digital Library, Seminar Hall, Communication Lab, Cafeteria, College Store, Sports and Computer Lab.   

The college has physical education department that organize many sports competition to enhance the internal potential/physical strength of the students. Many students won prizes at the zonal level competitions under the University. The institute aim is to provide highest quality education in the field of arts and sciences to enhance the literary capabilities and professional development of students for serving society and humanity in general.
